Absolutely loved the way you presented these profiles, perfect amount of time and details for each prospect. 👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 😁
You were spot on with Eiserman
Very high on Parekh....I like that
He’s money. So creative, calm and daring. Massive offensive upside, and not as bad defensively as people have made him out to be. Thanks for watching!
@@HadiK_Scoutingno, he’s fucking terrible defensively. I watched him a lot over the past two years. He gets bodied on board battles. Very good with the puck, useless without it.
@@MrHunterbg. I’ve seen him allot too. He closes gaps well, he has a really good stick defensively blocking or deflecting pucks. He’ll battle in front of the net along the boards but it looks like his hearts not completely in it. He will take a hit to make a play so that gives me confidence that if he’s interested learning to play defence he’ll figure it out. But of course the scouts are going to dig to try to figure out if his head’s screwed on right.
Seeing the prospects through a professional scout is awesome. Thanks and GHG!!!
Surprised at your positioning of Levshunov & Parekh, I'd probably reverse those guys. Nice video!
Love you so much Hadi !!!
Your analysis are so interesting to listen to.
Very detailed / in-depth.
Love, love, LOVE YOU !!!
Keep up the amazing work
Love the channel, rankings, etc one of the best breakdowns and one of the more realistic rankings I’ve seen. Parerkh should be a top 10 and if teams miss on him they’re going to sorely wish they hadn’t later on. One super sleeper you need to check out. I know he is VERY off radar but I bet this kid is going to be on a NHL roster in the future Kam Hendrickson out of Minnesota high school right now. Go watch footage of this kid. His puck tracking, rebound recovery, calmness, and explosiveness from post to post without cheating by taking his eyes off the puck is way ahead of his age. He should be on top 100 boards if he’s not because someone is going to get a steal if they scoop him up in the high 3rd round or late 2nd round. Frankly I’d have him in the 2nd all day long.
Great vid.. i always love to explore new channels. And you did a great job with the presentation as well as the analysing of the prospect. As a Ducksfan i would love to have Parekh as RHD would be exactly what we need. I will leave a sub here, keep doing what u doin.
I agree on a lot of the ranks! I’m just still not sure about Lindstrom
Great content !
I have been telling my friends for weeks that Parekh is the real deal with legitimate Erik Karlsson like upside. Offensively the most impressive season in the OHL by a 17 years old defencemen.
Happy to see Greentree crack your top 10. I have him at #11 but have slowly rise him closer to my top 10 since the begining of the year.
Skating issues have become more and more fixable in the past couple of years and passing on him after the top 10 could be a massive mistake.
88 points on the worst team in the Western conference shows just how good he really is.
Love the analysis and actual explanations.
As a HABS fan I wonder. What would be the best fit for the Montreal system in the top 10 in your mind?
I think Barkley Catton or Cayden Lindstrom would be so good for the habs if they can develop to be a first center. Suzuki would be the perfect second center and it would make our team very dangerous
loved the analysis maybe relating the players to a current player in the nhl would be cool
Always love your work, Hadi.
Thank you so much!
Good analysis! I know it's not related to the incoming draft, but I'd like to know your opinion about some players that were drafted in the last draft. Between Quentin Musty, Jagger Firkius, Calum Ritchie, Riley Heidt and Otto Stenberg, who would you pick? Who has the highest ceiling?
Musty - always has been, always will be. I had him somewhere around 12 I think in his draft year - I’m really high on his skillset and his mobility for his size!
Great video, thanks for the info. I'm just starting my draft info gathering so this helps
Great video! I love this ranking. Big fan of Catton, Lindstrom and Greentree. Why is, in your opinion, Lindstrom rising so much in every Top-Prospect list? Since he hasn't played since December 2023
Thanks for watching! Lindstrom’s been in my top five since November - I think others are just catching on after watching him more in-depth. He’s a fantastic player!
@@HadiK_Scouting No GM will pass up on that size skill and meanness. Top 3 unless you go D. Love the Russian. But you would have to hope he does not extend 3 years on his KHL contract. I'm talking from a Blackhawks perspective being they are locked somewhere in the top four if they don't get Celebrini. Catton would be my forth guy if the Hawks don't go for a RHD.
Great job! Only big disagreement is with Catton. I would also put MBN higher, better package thant Catton as a winger. Would be a beast in the CHL. Plays in a tough league to evaluate players. A more agressive, less fancy Filp Forsberg.
Celebrini
Buium
Demidov
Lindstrom
Perekh
Dickinson
Iggy
Levshonov
Sennekke
Catton
Helenius
Chernyshov
Yalumchuk
Eiserman
Brandee’s-Nygard
Boisvert
Eiserman’s teammates kinda suck he would be so much better with more competent teammates. I still think he’s top 4-6
Great video! Well done, Hadi.
Nice breakdowns Hadi ❤
Good job !
There's no way NHL teams are taking the "little" defensemen over the big ones especially considering the NHL and how it's played now. It's impossible to defend without length and size.
These are my rankings so far. I'm only at least fairly firm on the top 13 (I take my time):
Celebrini 1
Buium 2
Lindstrom 3
Catton 4
Dickinson 5
Demidov 6
Parekh 7
Levshunov 8
Silayev 9
Helenius 10
Greentree 11
Iginla 12
Eiserman 13
Who do you think the perfect pick for the habs if they end up picking around 5
Cayden Lindstrom if he’s still available. Highest upside at forward outside of Celebrini and Demidov! He’s gonna take some time, though.
I have a very similar top 10 and the exact same top 4. I can see Catton falling a bit on draft day because he isn't seen as a top 6 centerman in the NHL. If you view him as a winger, he is much more promising
Great work. Id switch Nygaard and Yakemchuck but other than that its a great effort.
Glad you liked it! Personally, I think Yakemchuk definitely has more upside but he’s been pretty frustrating to watch at times. Brandsegg-Nygård’s habits and intelligence give him the edge, but the 12-18 range is pretty close together!
My list
Macklin Celebrini C
Ivan Demidov RW/C
Artyom Levshunov RD
Cayden Lindstrom LW/C/RW
Berkly Catton C
Zeev Buium LD
Zayne Parekh RD
Sam Dickinson LD
Konsta Helenius C/RW
Cole Eiserman LW
Awesome video. As a hawks fan curious who ya think would be the best pick for us if we get second overall.
1st.overall.pick.goes.again.chicago.blackhawks.big.deal.
I think a Bedard-Demidov duo would make for some of the most entertaining hockey in the NHL, but realistically, I’d say either Levshunov or Silayev will be the Hawks’ pick at 2.
Other than that, I’d say Lindstrom would make a great pick if they don’t go D.
@@HadiK_ScoutingBoth will take time. And with Murphy locked up for 2 years they have time. Im leary on taking Russians with long contracts. I want a player who will be ready after a year. Hawks are in to big Moble Defenseman. But they don't have big forward prospects. Having said all that. I could not pass on Demitov with the second pick. Maybe the second coming of Duysuk .
Pretty close to my own list
Kind of wild to minimize the issues with Parekh and maximize the issues with Eiserman. I mean, both have high ceilings and low floors.
Literally almost everything that he said about Catton, Demidov and Lindstrom could be said about Eiserman too. He creates chances for himself off turnovers because he cheats offensively. That's like his whole schtick and why some people don't like him but it's a positive when Demidov does it? He doesn't pass? He has a great shot and uses it to it's full effect, often times he passes *too much* because he doesn't want to be selfish. He's great at collecting pucks from bad passes and scoring anyways, just like Lindstrom. His defensive game still needs work but you can't just cherry pick one game when he has games where he dominates at both ends of the ice. Like yeah he's inconsistent but you really want to put a bunch of guys who top out at 2nd line tweeners above a guy who tops out as the next Ovechkin?
Great analysis. Would love if the Blues could snag Dickinson or Greentree.
Who should the Devils target in the 8ish range? 😈 I feel like the D-men upside might be too intriguing to pass on. I’m thinking Sam Dickinson or Zeev Bium. Thoughts?
Dickinson will almost definitely be gone, but Buium is probably going to be available. I just don’t know how many more power-play quarterbacks the Devils need 😂
Personally I’d go for a forward if I were them, Catton could very well be free for the taking!
we need a minute muncher all situations imo@@HadiK_Scouting
Dickinson is the safest pick in the draft reminding me of Hanafin. Silayev is too high for me because hockey sense triumphs all. Also, where is Alfons Freij in the 1st round
As a Habs fan, I am curious: if Habs are picking at #5 or 6 do you think Cayden Lindstrom would still be available to them? Also, I'm wondering when Lindstrom will come back from injury or is he back yet?. At end of the calendar year 2023, I read that he was 4 to 6 weeks away but it's now near the end of March and no sign of him yet. Could his injury be more serious than we thought?
Love the video, bro… I’m a ducks fan, and when I heard someone say they should take it defenseman, I stopped listening, because the ducks have enough D… who do you think would be the best for the ducks, assuming they don’t get the first overall and take celebrini… because, you know they won’t…😓
I think Yakemchuck needs to be in there, but if he slides to later in the first round somebody is going to be very happy about that.
I think Yakemchuk should be in the top 15 but the other guys are also pretty good players within that 10-15 range
How do you think Benson as a prospect compared to Catton and Helenius?
Benson is better than both, IMO. Catton might have *slightly* more upside, but it’s not by any means a big enough gap to make up for the difference in their defensive game and forechecking ability. Both are super intelligent, though.
i have no idea why you have Catton ranked so high, he's choking in the big games and totally invisible. He's not big, doesn't fight through traffic. I'd take Iginla over him 10/10 times
I feel the same way. Only time will tell I guess but for me Iggy>Catton
Nice video I like ur ranking, but im surprise you didnt put Trevor Connelly. He is #5 in my ranking
My ranking lol
@@israelrocha2878 funny right ?
6:55 Is Mike Hoffman another good "at worst" comparison?
Silaev top rating 2no. It's 13pm here? Eiserman is in the top 5 of the ranking, here in 11th place. ? I think Eiserman will go into the top 4. The best player in Team USA 18. The best Sniper in this draft.
Where would you have ranked Celebrini in last year's draft ?
Behind Bedard for sure, but in a tier above Fantilli, Carlsson, Michkov and Benson (all four were in the same tier for me).
@@HadiK_Scoutingseing both play, i would have problably taken Celebrini, some will say i'm nuts lol, but he's so good at both end of the ice, the kind of player that makes you win cups, he's a Crosby type player.
I don't no why people are saying he is in a whole tier above Carlsson and Fantili. Both are bigger than him, while being at least as good as him offensively, if not better. Fantilli had better stats than him in NCAA. For me, those three players are right in the same tier.
Parekh is boom or bust for me
Great vid, however I feel like you are overrating most prospects. "This guy is a 50 goals scorer, top 11, this guy is a 60 pts defenseman, top 7, this guy is a sure top 6 center, etc."
Really hope your top 5 is wrong, as I’m hoping MTL can draft one of Demidov, Lindstrom or Parekh
Where did you have Yegor Surin?
As of right now, I have Surin as an honourable mention in my top-75. I like the skill, but he has very little habits-wise to uplift that skill. He’s the most MHL player I’ve scouted in a long time, lol.
@@HadiK_ScoutingTop 75, I think that he'll go higher, we'll see. "most ???? MHL" Did you drop an adjective?
@@pmenchions I think he’ll go higher, too - I just think there are many better bets. The habits are all sorts of weird.
What I mean by “the most MHL player I’ve scouted” is that he exemplifies MHL hockey. He plays chaotically and without any restraint or forethought.
eisermen outside the top 10 is outrageous, easily the best pure goal scorer since matthews and is on pace of broking cole caufield's record, at least top 5
How the goals are scored matters, too. Joakim Kemell was scoring a bunch in his draft year, but a good portion of those were random pucks being thrown at the net from everywhere.
I think kaliyev is a good comparable, too. Lethal shot, not much else. Eisermans highest upside is Laine.
One thing going for eiserman is he's super young
Levshunov is far superior to Parekh and Buium
Eiserman will be better than John Anderson and Arthur Kaliev, much better. I don’t think there’s even any need to compare them. Eiserman could potentially score 40 goals. And he will very well be one of the best Sniper in the NHL.
