It's actually crazy how much better the lighting in GT7 is, the sun feels more real and physical in the world. The light in Forza is very fake and even the car shadow feels fake like a 2D image being distorted because sometimes the shape of it doesn't even match the car or when the car in Forza has dual side shadows, like wtf??
Yes. People complain the glare and shine is too strong in GT7. It isn't. PD deliberately display the tracks during sunshine in optimum conditions and the cars almost always in a pristine state. What GT7 doesn't do well, is accumulate dirt and damage well on their car models. But plenty of experts such as Digital Foundry and others all say PD's lighting engine (not RT reflections) are some of the best around. Also GT7's paint colours and material textures are very accurately represented. The game isn't perfect, but those areas are definitely some of the best in videogames.

all GT7 circuits are scanned, while some in Forza are not, and Daytona is one of them, first because the finish line doesn't have the graffiti and drawings like in real life, and because the stands are proportionally larger than in life real, if you take a look at a real life onboard and compare it to the one from Forza, you will notice the differences, so, GT7 is much more accurate to real life than Forza
😂😂 and you think the track is scanned.....because they have the graffiti on it?? Oh boy. That graffiti changes before every race. All poliphony have done, have added mentions to the line, they could stick whatever they want on there, because it changes anyway. You don't need to scan the track to do that. Honestly.
@@nihilityjoeyNo those are examples of why. They are laser scanned because PD literally got the data , along with geographic and satellite data to accurately recreate the track.
