I'm a baby boomer, have always loved Dylans songs, music. My middle-aged son loves him too, so recently we went to see the movie. We loved it so much. What brought us to tears was when Chalamet looked long into Woody's eyes to say goodbye and scene held it there. Sound, music, story, actors, we're so beyond expectations, top shelf excellence 💞
A very enjoyable interview, so thank you. One never realizes how much goes into the sound/audio portion of a film unitl you listen to a conversation like this. Also, great job on A Complete Unknown, which I saw yesterday and for which I happened to notice the excellent sound quality.
Fabulous interview, and I'm so glad I didn't see this until after I'd seen the film. It illustrates so well how it came together so perfectly beautiful. I hope this wins all of the awards. As a Bob Dylan superfan, that's also no film expert, learning about the sound portion of it was so interesting. While watching the film, the sound played such an important role in evoking so many emotions. I enjoyed every second of this wonderful piece of art and believe that they perfectly encapsulated this period of time and the illusiveness of Bob. It was subtle while also loud and also emotional. Just wow. I hope this wins all of the awards. Thank you to this wonderful team for seeing this through. Congratulations on making such a perfect, beautiful film.
It’s probably a good thing it was delayed. The market was getting saturated with musicians’ stories. Feels like it’s time for a fresh one now, and his songs might help people remember who they are.
respectfully imma leave a like and a comment (which in case this is it what your reading) and come back to this video after seeing the movie. Love DOlbyCreatorTalks
This was fascinating, thank you. If people want an introduction to Dylan check out the new book, "You Don't Need a Weatherman: Bob Dylan for Beginners".

I think it's time for a revised movie version about Janis Joplin ❤😢✌️

Did you enjoy it?
I really hope they do right by Mike Bloomfield. Would love to see an in depth look at his hand in the recording of Like a Rolling Stone, et al.
That mfer doesn’t even get a line in the film 💀
I thought the player/actor they chose killed it. Nailed his tone and mannerisms with the guitar.
@ did he have much screen time?
REALLY enjoyed this!

Anybody else take a swig when Dylan is walking down the street and somebody says “Hi, Bob”?
