Multiplayer suggestion: Avoid the refinebots time trial. Each build a drift sled (low-friction slabs with thrusters) to carry a resource collector full of rods through a course full of refinebots. Drive your sled from start of the course to the finish in the shortest time possible, but add 5 seconds to your time for each rod from your collector that gets eaten by a refinebot.
Make vehicles with rods for wheels (5x5 remove the corners) then have collectors placed throughout the track to act as landmines that would just suck up a wheel when you get too close, have some hidden in bushes and others out in the open etc.

I think if they make a full vehicle based on wood like this episode and make a challenge for it that should be fun, but the collector it self too OP for some type of wood challenge I think

You could definitely do the catapult castle defense challenge with resource collectors and castles painstakingly built out of resource rods. You just need to have your catapults built away from your own or have a defending team at the resource collectors and have an invading team launching resource collectors. Another fun one would be building boats out of resource rods and having teams of ship defenders and bombers. Ship defenders have spud guns and go as long as they can keeping the ship afloat or in at least more than half intact while an attacking team is dive bombing them with cardboard bombers loaded with resource collectors or spawners that can spawn resource collectors. Going off the boat idea, you could also make boats with wood rods on the bottom and metal and stone rods up top and have an endurance race with resource collector sea mines floating in the way. That way you lose your buoyancy from your wood resources and wind up sinking if you're "hit" too many times. Lastly, have you seen the old Japanese game show Takeshi's Castle? It's been redubbed over here in the west as "MXC" but they have a game where the contestants run a wall full of doors and only 1 of them is fake and allows contestants through. There's about 5 of these walls that the contestants have to run through and first one to the end wins. You could definitely do something like that with your resource vehicles, cardboard doors, spud guns, and resource collectors hidden behind the real doors. Quick and easy.
Hey Scrap Man, Durf found out about diagonal suspension, it will be helpful for you in future MM episodes MM idea: collector demo derby: each player is reserved to have enough resource rods to fill up 1 collector and each player is granted 2 collectors for the derby (more collectors if there are more than 3 players), a player is eliminated if their seat or both collectors are no-longer attached to their vehicle. (for this, I wanna grant the use of all resource rod types, just to increase the uniqueness of a vehicle)
Suggestion time! I would absolutely love to see you guys do like a triathlon of challenges you have done before with all the knowledge you have now. Start with a forklift challenge collecting random loot crates like from the loot crate challenge. Next build a car from the loot crates you got. Do a race and follow up with the mortar challenge. The winner of the last race gets extra shots. Now that's a lot of content but would be great over three episodes?

for a battle idea on the collectors as you guys said throw the collectors at a larger car trying to survive. but do it in teams of 2, so you have 2 ppl shooting at a large car driving around and the 2nd person on the Survivor team has to "defend" the survivor but going around and deleting the collectors so the survivor doesn't get pinned. the match should be in a bit of a pit and the attackers on stationary turrets looking down on the pit.

Yup, Kan built a wishbone suspension for his steering. Not weird at all that it doesnt work properly. He needed to make the middle pieces be flexible like suspensions
turn the collectors sideways so you can see inside them, create a big wall "dart board, create turret that can launch the wood ready to be refined, aim turret from a distance play with your now turret Cross Bow and Target paint it if you like.

First to have their glidercar, get collected, glide a considerable distance over a long space with lots of obstacles, and drive to the finish before everyone else wins.
MM-Challenge Idea: everyone gets a set amount of trees to build a log vehicle (no resources) & then you take turns trying to survive the others who have saw blades to cut the car, longest driving wins. Kan's Idea of Collector-throwing would be great.
Do it like this, make planes out of that harvestable wood and go through a course fill with hoops made of collectors. My other suggestion is to do olympic events where there are many games using the same mechanic

You could adapt this into a destruction derby, adding sawblades to your vehicles. Maybe spudguns as well, but idk if they break wood. I doubt it.
