Good-bye To The Pan-Am Business Train

CSX wasted little time clearing out the vestiges of Pan-Am, as witnessed by CSX freight, 470-West. The train is passing by the Dover, NH passenger station with the Pan-Am Business Train in tow. The two Pan-Am F-9’s are dead-in-tow behind the three CSX road units. The four passenger cars are at the end of the train.
It is 3:50pm on June 19, 2022 as the train passes. It has been sitting at the Dover freight yard for around two-hours, waiting for a bottleneck to the west. By this time, less than three-weeks after the CSX took over operations on what were B&M rails, all the Pan-Am four-axil units have already disappeared… at least from this area.
