SD scott, just curious is all. Nothing more. Why did you move away from Cali (socal)? You're now very far inland you say. If by chance you moved to Upland California, or whatever, you can still drive to the beach and enjoy it for a day.

When I was younger I loved to body board as maybe more than surfing. Although people made so much fun of me. So I only surfed. Now that I am older I still love body boarding and love that more people are out enjoying it as much as me

As soon as I got back I bought my gear and been going to HB every Saturday n Sunday. I really wanna get good at this! its so much fun. There were a few of us way back when (83-95): Myself, Chris Cunningham, Otter Boonchareon, Christian Mehler, Mike Huseman, Tony Nguyen, Scott McKenzie, Mike Rovetto, Jamie Lockhart plus a few others. We's paddle out on the small shitty days, on the BIG days and everything in between. I remember the day the pier broke and the end cafe fell in, a select few of us jumped of the en the next day into MASSIVE waves and spent the next several hours dodging debris. AND we didn't hide behind the "Black Ball", we took our turns charged and earned respect. Keep it up.

True, but the kind that get too extreme get annoying like the "HaHa BodyFag locals only, no bodyboards around here" kind.
Ha i body board and i get surfers dropping in on me all the time, but after i kindly tell them If you drop in on me again i am going to kick your ass, and never have any problem after that. Just need to stand your ground or you get dropped on all day....
