Panther class gives you spray so drones can't see you. Loot all the behemoth sites using the spray to get easy skill points. I have almost all the skills and I haven't done a single mission. Having all the skills will make the game easier overall.
Jason King, I think it’s more fun to sneak past them, though I don’t use the spray. It’s pretty tense and exciting to crawl through the grass and the mud, evading detection and knowing the behemoth with annihilate you if you fuck up but then waning massive rewards for success. I play solo on extreme and absolutely love the challenge.
Went from 130 to 230 in about 8 hours. Also capped the skill tree and maxed all 4 classes to level 10. The only genuine way to "grind" rating is to just play the game normally, the only trick behind the grind is ignoring rarity and equipping based on highest rating. Once you hit 250+ you can start equipping by rarity, stats, and buffs.
This game is a lot of fun. People are critiquing the story for lack of content, and yes the glitches are annoying, but it’s so fun to just kill and explore the open world. That’s the big reason why Ghost Recon is so good man. ❤️❤️
On extreme with no guided mode and no minimap or hud makes this game a completely different beast. Even leave the map up really since there's no detection clouds.

Just *immediately equip* every item that is higher than yours, and you will get more higher level loot from drops. After that i have moved to 159 gs from 142 just in 1 hour. Before that, i keep equipped some rare gold items like +20 ammo vest that was too low for me.
I used to keep what i liked, but after awhile i did try just wearing shit i just had sitting there. I kept all clothing gear that gave 5% exp each until i reached 30. Soon as i equipped better gear, along with weapons i didn't initially wanna use, my gear score increased by ALOT in those few seconds, which is great since now i see purples and yellows more often now. Should've done that a long time ago 😂
Idk. I personally like to play PVE, so I like to spend my time working to get my gear level up through playing the campaign. I'm not saying I don't like the game. I just think the gear level system is a little odd. Weapon specs do not change, they're all the same no matter what level you are, unless you're using special weapons.
Well since Im finally getting to play it more now, Im definitely loving the free roam. On foot is definitely a way to get familiar with the functions and getting used to the weapons operations. Definitely a quirky but enjoyable game for sure!!!
I’m currently lvl 300 now (this Tuesday) and for those who’re expecting higher gears from Maria’s Shop, hate to break it to you but once you hit 300 all gears are locked to lvl 250
The only thing I really noticed that bothered me was when ever you switch guns, it takes a while for the gun you had before to go away and your new gun to appear.
3:21 - I also noticed some of the weapons crates (not all) will reset if you fast travel to a another province, and engage a few enemies, and then go back. It doesn't work if you just go somewhere else and come back. You have to force the game to render a few active entities first (enemies or interaction points such as loot, action triggers, etc.). Time alone will not make a difference.
I don't like the way where they did because when I found weapons and clothing with higher gear score is worse than some of them where I have already because my current one have better perks and doing more damage to the enemies or protect me better
Thats why you have 3 preset loadouts per class... Make one for your good stats, one for farming the gear score and one maybe for more stealth and drone evasion
Done it several times buddy, I’m at 273 gear score without all of the highest stuff equipped. Next run I’ll be getting 300 stuff which is the highest score now 👍

I play this game as a advanced Division 2. It’s not a 100% ghost recon game . But when you look at it like the division just a big open world looter with vehicles instead of being confined to walking everywhere it makes it enjoyable . Better landscape and weapons than the division as well
Great video! Just bought this game 4 days ago as I have been waiting for updates. Now seemed like a good time plus it was stupid cheap. So glad I found your video. Very helpful. A little too Division-ish with the gear/weapon leveling business (much preferred Wildlands less cumbersome approach). That aside, it's not perfect but I'm enjoying it so far.
GS202 now but definitely taking much more time to progress even with skill points albeit I've probably got all the ones I want now. Initially I was moving up about 50 per day then it slowed down to about 10 and now it’s about 5 (day = 10-12 hours) The missions are definitely getting harder, Wolves now take 2 hits to the body with the TAC-50 but use the Zastrava for a noisy one shot, this gun also has a big recoil. Once I've been spotted, I remove the suppressor on all guns for the 20% extra damage. I have been using the 416 AR for the most part but recently moved over to the SC-20K which has more damage and higher RPM however if you fire off more than 10 shots in one go the recoil goes mental.
I feel like as you go it slows down more and more man. I’m at 212 now and it’s a snails pace. Getting the same numbers your already at over and over and over again lol. Edit- hoping to push 225 today. Great video brother, really enjoy your content!

Yeah but it’s not time gated, it is for some part but it’s also gated to how much you loot in game. If I remember correctly you’ll get a gear score increase after 50 drops looted in the late game gear score 👍
Im already gaining good gear levels now spot on! Also does the loot crates always refresh itself then. Like how if in a specific space there was a M82, if you go back later on in the game you’ll loot a better level of that gun?

I also have another tip that’s not really a tip but I think it is. If you don’t equip and second primary or even a first primary your gear score will got increase fast enough to stay on level with the campaign so make sure you equip primary’s I learned this because I challenged myself to use only one gun on the hardest difficulty and it was really challenging because I wasn’t ever on level with the enemies

Why are y’all comparing this to division 2 ? It’s not even the same . Just bc it has gear score doesn’t make it similar. Division 2 is a hardcore loot rpg game . Breakpoint is mediocre to that and is more of wild lands with level progression that doesn’t mean anything

B2G stopped playing division 2 due to bad decisions with that game and it's lack of content at the time and preferred to play this over div 2 for quite a while. Gameplay wise it's completely different but there is a lot of similar things with loot in ghost, division and even the recent Assassins creed. At this time we didn't have imnerssive mode, Ai team or no loot settings unfortunately.
also the weapon mechanic seems weird.. you invest resources and parts to get your weapon to a Mk2 or Mk3 and then you get a weapon with a better gear score... so those resources are lost.. unless I am missing something, not much incentive to improve your weapon's stats..
It's super annoying until you get the blueprint of the weapon you want. Then you can buy it on demand from bivouacs and maria's shop. Once you get to like 210+ Gear Score you start replacing your weapons way less frequently, too. So it's less of a pain to keep rolling them.
I don't mind a grind, but it would help if the gameplay was better. I've spent 150 hours in the Division 2, and I can't wait to play more... because the shoot-outs are freaking phenomenal. Ghost Recon's shoot-outs are extremely meh.
Thank you for the video. Its super slwo going at 247. My slow grind started at 210. But I noticed that since the enemy's are at my level my wife who is lower level.. Doesn't have the same slow grind. Drops are normal and easy to level up when she plays. Maybe theres a loot system in place for lower level players. Also, I do believe there is a smart loot system in place. I swapped out to my panther class and didn't swap out to my higher level gear when I was at 220ish and I ended up getting a plus 1 gear score level. But yes to take less damage and or to do more damage against drones highest level gear is ideal. Could be wrong but this is what ive seen. Thanks much.
You’re welcome buddy. Yeah the grind gets harder and harder the higher you level. I’m gaining maybe one gear score improvement per couple of hours playing now and I’m at 227. I haven’t done too many wolves camps but I’ve been doing the elite faction missions and they’re the best thing by far. I managed to get a couple of pieces that were a +3 from doing an elite faction mission which is helping massively at the moment 👍
@@Born2Game just did an elite and the base on the south west. Nothing dropped higher. Ran a convoy and checked the store after reset. Nothing. Grabbed a quick loot box by a sam site. +1 at 249 lol. Drops keep coming in at good levels for the wife.
I love this game, but the story missions feel really disjointed and you don't really care... Wildlands was really good.. taking down the drug cartel... I spent hundreds of hours.... I don't like the mission page as well.. seems overly complicated... but game play is great!
So glad they added immersion mode. I always found it incredibly stupid, in a shooter, to have a specific weapon, for example MP5 SMG at gear level 20 and then the same exact weapon at level 270.. both are the exact same weapons but one is completely useless , the other one is powerful... This mecanics could work in mele games, like Assassins Creed Odyssey, which sort of fits the narrative of discovering epic new legendary armour from AChilles or something. But n shooters it makes no sense whatsover...
@@danbodroid the amount of bugs and glitches I've ran into is unreal spawning inside rocks not being able to use my parachute shooting and no hits registering It's missing half the suff they should have kept from wildlands my funniest complaint is the vehicles especially the bike and the 4x4 trucks they all have a depressing murrr to start off and it's the same sound over and over lol

So 250 or 252 is the max for normal GS grinds? Then have to go through raids to get any gear higher than that? Explains why I'm struggling so much now as I'm at 240 GS currently

Destroy drones they drop standard parts also take down weapon transport trucks that drive around I get alot of standard weapons from them and you can dismantle them to get the parts

I think this game is severely broken for me. I'm 92% through the campaign, I always optimize my gear and weapons but all I seem to find is green loot and the occasional blue one. I've been on gear level 36 for ever.
Go to higher tier areas the first day of me playing with gear score I got up to fifty squad up with another person just run around open up cheats and look on the tacmap for purple gear if you have it already scouted by your drone it will show you what’s there

I just bought the panther bundle. Just started the game. Do you have to unlock crafting to get it. I can't locate any of the items. Do I need to reach a certain gear score or unlock something at the crafting bench?
@@Born2Game maybe you can cover it but if you go to a campfire you can select your blueprints. So I randomly found the answer. Lol so maybe it helps you or your followers out as well.
I actually have a question to. Say I have a 170 gun but I get another gun at 180 but its a gun i don't like so I don't equip it will I still get low lvl guns or will the game detect the loot that's in my inventory and still give me good loot and I will go up still
That’s a good question buddy. I don’t know the answer for definite but someone said they were near 200 gear score and equipped old stuff that was standard rarity at around 10 score to play with their friend and be the same sort of level and their stuff was still dropping at 200 so I think it registers the highest gear score you’ve been and works out the drops based on that 👍

Do the Raid. I was in the 160's then found over 200 stuff. I was hyped!

Higher level gear all the way. When you reach the level cap then start focusing on the stats and the stuff you like 👍

It's super annoying until you get the blueprint of the weapon you want. Then you can buy it on demand from bivouacs and maria's shop. Once you get to like 210+ Gear Score you start replacing your weapons way less frequently, too. So it's less of a pain to keep rolling them.
Are you equipping weapons with only +20% xp or just the highest weapon score possible?

I don't mind a grind, but it would help if the gameplay was better. I've spent 150 hours in the Division 2, and I can't wait to play more... because the shoot-outs are freaking phenomenal. Ghost Recon's shoot-outs are extremely meh.

Thank you for the video. Its super slwo going at 247. My slow grind started at 210. But I noticed that since the enemy's are at my level my wife who is lower level.. Doesn't have the same slow grind. Drops are normal and easy to level up when she plays. Maybe theres a loot system in place for lower level players. Also, I do believe there is a smart loot system in place. I swapped out to my panther class and didn't swap out to my higher level gear when I was at 220ish and I ended up getting a plus 1 gear score level. But yes to take less damage and or to do more damage against drones highest level gear is ideal. Could be wrong but this is what ive seen. Thanks much.
You’re welcome buddy. Yeah the grind gets harder and harder the higher you level. I’m gaining maybe one gear score improvement per couple of hours playing now and I’m at 227. I haven’t done too many wolves camps but I’ve been doing the elite faction missions and they’re the best thing by far. I managed to get a couple of pieces that were a +3 from doing an elite faction mission which is helping massively at the moment 👍
@@Born2Game just did an elite and the base on the south west. Nothing dropped higher. Ran a convoy and checked the store after reset. Nothing. Grabbed a quick loot box by a sam site. +1 at 249 lol. Drops keep coming in at good levels for the wife.
I love this game, but the story missions feel really disjointed and you don't really care... Wildlands was really good.. taking down the drug cartel... I spent hundreds of hours.... I don't like the mission page as well.. seems overly complicated... but game play is great!

So glad they added immersion mode. I always found it incredibly stupid, in a shooter, to have a specific weapon, for example MP5 SMG at gear level 20 and then the same exact weapon at level 270.. both are the exact same weapons but one is completely useless , the other one is powerful... This mecanics could work in mele games, like Assassins Creed Odyssey, which sort of fits the narrative of discovering epic new legendary armour from AChilles or something. But n shooters it makes no sense whatsover...
I just bought it on sale and I can say I'm not overly impressed it doesn't even feel finished yet

@@danbodroid the amount of bugs and glitches I've ran into is unreal spawning inside rocks not being able to use my parachute shooting and no hits registering
It's missing half the suff they should have kept from wildlands my funniest complaint is the vehicles especially the bike and the 4x4 trucks they all have a depressing murrr to start off and it's the same sound over and over lol

When you take down bases. Do they come back?
Yeah. You can either let the last enemy kill you so they all respawn or you can logout of the game and back in to reset the bases 👍
Finally I can assert dominance to other people by my level
So 250 or 252 is the max for normal GS grinds? Then have to go through raids to get any gear higher than that? Explains why I'm struggling so much now as I'm at 240 GS currently
Once I reach a certain gear score, do I get the next color gear? Im purple right now but do you know what gear score I need for gold to commonly get?
It’s around 105 or something when you’ll start getting gold drops 👍

Thank you buddy and how did you get to 255? I thought the soft cap was 250 but elite faction missions will push it to 252 and that’s the max 🤔
@@Born2Game that's how it do it i farm thé elite missions over and over. I leave a couple alive and fail thé mission, then restart and repeat 😉

I cant find standard weapon parts, I've got to a point where I cant upgrade my weapons without standard parts, cheers
Destroy drones they drop standard parts also take down weapon transport trucks that drive around I get alot of standard weapons from them and you can dismantle them to get the parts
Most drones drop ‘em I agree, there are patrol areas with drones only.
Easiest way is buy standart weapons from shopband then salvage theme. I got everything from this on mark 3

My faction missions dont show me rewards. Is it something you turn on or what? It seems to work during co op SOMETIMES but that's it
If you try in the objective board it seems to show rewards but a lot of the time I can’t see them either

I've been playing for over 10 hours and I only have green equipment. Wtf.
I think this game is severely broken for me. I'm 92% through the campaign, I always optimize my gear and weapons but all I seem to find is green loot and the occasional blue one. I've been on gear level 36 for ever.
Go to higher tier areas the first day of me playing with gear score I got up to fifty squad up with another person just run around open up cheats and look on the tacmap for purple gear if you have it already scouted by your drone it will show you what’s there
Can you upgrade individual items, like in AC Oddessy, pay to raise the level of a gun...?

I just bought the panther bundle. Just started the game. Do you have to unlock crafting to get it. I can't locate any of the items. Do I need to reach a certain gear score or unlock something at the crafting bench?

If you want SMG, use UMP or MP7... Those are far better... UMP is good as an all rounder, MP7 has better handling and recoil but alot closer range

I actually have a question to. Say I have a 170 gun but I get another gun at 180 but its a gun i don't like so I don't equip it will I still get low lvl guns or will the game detect the loot that's in my inventory and still give me good loot and I will go up still
That’s a good question buddy. I don’t know the answer for definite but someone said they were near 200 gear score and equipped old stuff that was standard rarity at around 10 score to play with their friend and be the same sort of level and their stuff was still dropping at 200 so I think it registers the highest gear score you’ve been and works out the drops based on that 👍
