What video editing software is your favorite? Camtasia, Davinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro... or something else? Let me know in the comments :-)
What a great video. As mentioned before, clear, concise, straight to the point! This should be like a template on how videos of this content should be done.
Not only does the Studio version get you 2 licenses, it also gets you the stand alone version of Fusion with the same license, which is far quicker that the version in Resolve. There are also quite a few extra special effects in the Studio version in the Color page and elsewhere that are not included in the free version. Definitely worth the one time payment. 0:00 Intro 0:46 Resolution 1:29 Frame Rates 2:11 10-Bit Footage 2:50 Auto SubTitles 3:44 GPU Acceleration 4:36 Auto Transcriptionn 4:53 Magic Mask 5:10 Noise Reduction 5:21 Smart Reframe 5:39 Voice Isolation 5:51 Face Refinement 6:01 Object removal 6:11 Re-Light 6:24 Free or Paid?
Great video Rob! I’m really enjoying your channel, appreciate the time you took to put this one together for us! I have 0 editing experience and am looking to get started to begin learning the basics with editing software, I’m going to give the free version a try! Really looking forward to it! Thanks again Rob! Your channel is 💯👍. From your neighbour lol, Andrew from NB :)
Good luck with it! You can do a lot with Davinci Resolve but an even easier one to learn with is CapCut... it also has a free version and is probably the easiest to learn. Best of luck!!
I am about to buy a MACmini with 16GB RAM and the M4 processor: Hope to run Davinci on this new processor/OS. iMovie has been fine for me, but going to 3 cameras so iMovie is out and I need mulit-camera editing. Does Davinci support the new M4mac, and if yes, will the free version have 3 camera + audio track editing? Thank you.
Buying studio gets you two licenses, which means you can split the cost of a paid copy with a coworker or just a fellow hobbyist, right? From what I read, the only hassle is being careful to manage reuse of the licenses as you migrate from one machine to another, or wipe you drive for the occasional reinstall.
I'm not aware that you can split the cost with someone else to get two licenses... I don't think that's the case. They probably allow you to load the program on two separate devices that are both yours.... so for example, you may want Davinci on both your work computer and your home computer. Then you would only be using one at a time so there would be no issues. I hope that helps :)
In this video I used OBS to record my screen recordings, and I used my Sony a6400 camera to record myself (I recorded directly on to the SD card in the camera). Then I used Adobe Audition to record my voice audio. I hope that helps :-)
@@RobtheMaritimer I find it very time consuming. Extracting the recording from the SD Card and then merge them between your screen recordings, is there an easy way. When you make a video on this, please let me know. Anyway Thanks for reply and your content is great.
Thanku for ur explanation sir but the problem in my pc is , its not supporting my gallery DaVinci is sking zip files what to do in this case please reply me.
Adobe user here, though I'm not too pleased with their CC decision with monthly fees, and their decision to pretty much cut off the CS suite entirely. That said I am looking into getting DaVinci Resolve... This really seems like a breath of fresh air in the editing world and UA-camr creation as a whole.

Yes the free version of Davinci Resolve supports the new M4 Mac Mini and multiple audio and video tracks :)
@@RobtheMaritimer Thank you!! I was going to buy Final Cut, but maybe I can save $300! Hard to believe free software can be this great.

I have two questions. What software you used to record yourself? How easy was your camera to record? Did you use that as a webcam?

I'm afraid I don't understand your problem.

Oftentimes the free version of Davinci is all you need :) Enjoy!
for some reason the :"Like" function iisn't adding "'likes'
I’m sure it will in time - thanks for “liking” the video :-)
Time to get your camera off of your desk, it's shaking haha
