Trucks looking awesome!! I've been amazed at how my truck rides with the vertex coilovers and rear reservoir shocks. I stacked a level on top of mine and went to a little over 9" in front and 6" in rear so now I have to raise the rear another inch. Set mine at 4 and love the stiffness and less roll but I live in Florida where the roads are pretty good.
Good review I'm looking to 3.5" with the vertex shocks all around because they did a vid on a tacoma build and the stance is perfect.for my Tacoma TRD off-road.
I recently had this exact kit installed on a 2018 F150 4x4 and immediately the rear park sensor came on the dash. I go into settings and it has been unchecked and it wont allow me to check the box. Not that I really need the rear park aid feature, but it also caused a over view picture of a truck to come up on my screen with a red exclamation point. Anyone have any issues or can offer some advice? Thanks in advance.
I have the same truck lift and tires. Just bought the vertex coilovers and I hate the ride. It is soo ruff. I don’t know what is different. I have about 200 miles on the new setup. Brand new nitto 35’s. I’m at a loss.
Question for you, I have seen other people with these coilovers installed and I noticed the reservoir hose faces the front side of the truck, meaning it goes under the side of the upper control arm that faces forward, whereas I noticed your hose goes under the back side of the upper control arm. Is there a correct way to install? Do you think this makes a difference?
Getting mine done in Oklahoma 6-7.5 in lift vertex coil overs up front and HD tie rods ends plus alignment and coil over height adjustment right at $2200 before tax then I added rear traction bars for 400$ more
I have a 2010 f150 and want to get a RC with lifted struts. One question... do u enjoy the 6" or would u go higher?? I was debating between 6 w/35 or 8 w/37 inch. Do u feel taller on the road with the 6 ?? Good video keep up the work 💪
You can tell you sit higher in a 6 inch lift. You could go with either of those set ups but I personally wouldn’t go any higher than 8 on any 1/2 ton truck, once you go higher than that it doesn’t look good anymore.
How do they perform off-road? On some trails, washboard roads, gravel, etc. I’m having a hard time deciding on what to purchase. Currently have the RC 6” lift with the N3 shocks and struts. Debating on trying the fox 2.0 in the rear or the vertex shocks. Any info you have would be great!
Hey man, end up making a decision? I’m not lifted, but thinking about leveling my Tundra. I’m genuinely thinking about the vertex, but there aren’t many in-depth videos about them.
@@texanerection492 hey bro! I did end up buying them! They’re doing great! I got about 4,000 miles on them. The fact that you can soften or stiffen the ride is a huge deal. I switch over to 6-8 when going off road and also when towing. I think they’re worth the money.
@@alanramos7464 damn man, I was subconsciously hoping you wouldn’t say that👀. I’d be 100% down to buy them, but there’s a good chance I’ll be out of country for a long while. I’d hate to spend a whole bunch of money on this shit to only get to drive it for 15 months… Have any experience with other struts/coil-overs? I saw that you mentioned the N3’s- trying to avoid those haha.
Dude are you forserious that was a waste of time! Do you ever stop talking? Pete and Repeat were walking down the street and Pete fell down who was left??

What lift do you have?
He has the vertex coilovers so he almost definitely has a rough country lift.
My 17 150 is setup same as yours but with the icons uca. Rough country Finally has the upper control arms for f150 4x4. Just got mine today
Bro that a badass truck, I like the clean look simple and clean nice…I think 37s would look nice get open country at3
Drill a small hole or two at the very bottom of the taillight. I had that issue years ago, drilled a couple very small holes, no issues.

Truck looks great
Love the videos bro keep it up !
You need the BDS uppers with a 6 inch lift. I might go with the Vertex with 17's wrapped in Pro Comp 35's. Did you upgrade your brakes?
How much lift are you running? Not including what you have with the tires. Just the suspension. Thanks
How are they offroad? These shocks are for offroad.
If your running the rear shocks on setting 1 do you wish they had the ability to go even softer?
How many miles do you currently have on this suspension? Wondering how long they last thanks!
Looks Great…I have a similar set up and considering a Vertex system for my truck, just asking what traction bars are you running?
The knobs on the reservoir aret the height correct?
No sor that changes the compression. Makes it softer or harder depending on terrain.
Looking at getting the vertex shocks, how much do you like them and how many miles have you drove within them?

There’s a break in period. I drove from Florida to Illinois and half way thru I had to reset the settings.
Did your ride get better?
What do the settings mean? Is 1 really hard or really soft?
AGAIN HOW ARE THET OFFROAD?

Can you do a vertext 6inch lift on a 2019 fordf150 2WD only finding the vertext kit for 4WD?
Keep the stickers on dude 😂
How much is the whole set up including labor…ball park figure pls. Interested Ty I’m from Moyock, NC

What psi do u run ur tires in the summer?
With a spindle lift UCA isn't needed like a strut lift or spacer
Will you continue to upgrade the interior? I have the same interior on my STX and hate it lol
That’s the plan but parts are taking forever to ship

You ever tried them on 8 the stiffest how does that ride?
Yeah I have, they’re super stiff, it feels like you’re riding on the leaf springs with no shocks on the truck at all 😂
@@blomeoutdoors2134 for a first timer what 6” lift would you recommend and what size wheel and tires for a 2016 f-150
upper control arms have nothing to do with ride quality.
That’s just simply not true man…
@@texanerection492 the angle of them do, how they are built has absolutely nothing to do with it
Your rear wheels dont look centered
There’s absolutely no difference with the upper control arms…it’s an unnecessary mod, only for looks unless you’re Baja racing
False actually
