I'm not really surprised because, like Edge, Christian was forced to retire early with an injury and then came back 8-10 years later. I've seen him as a top heel in TNA/Impact. He has always had the ability to be a top star in a Major Promotion. WWE were just to blind to see it. People are getting to see what Christian is really capable of on a major stage and it's great to see people recognizing it.
