None of us regular viewers will be surprised at how well this as turned out, the lights and sounds really bring this to life, your time and patience as produced a truly excellent model, I hope you select a few simpler projects to see out the year, so that you can meet 2025 fully refreshed!
It doesn't matter how often I hear that theme song. It never gets old. Congratulations on seeing yours through with some very nice touches to finish up. Onward...
Well, the final chapter in this saga, which as always True Lou Through And Through. Great job. Even though I'm not a TNG-er, you don't have to like the show to love this build. Rainbow Connection huh, takin' a break from space. Build on Brother....😎
Now I understand why you put yourself through what you put yourself through with this model because it turned out beautifully. It is as good as what the special effects have ever done. I get why you went through the ordeal of all different color panels because it shows up well with the lights on. So, BRAVO!
Lou you have done an amazing job on this model As I'm sitting here looking at my 350 that I'm still working on Watching you put these models together is very Inspiring you do amazing work Hope you have a good week Look forward to your next video
Holy crap, Batman! Stunning. Absolutely jaw dropping! Assuming 8 hrs a day, 6 days a week for 13 weeks. That's $3900.00. Not to mention the kit, blood, sweat and tears. At least a $6000.00 model. I hope you will take her to Wonderfest.
Really awesome job on this. It's been fun watching you build this thing. I think I'd be scared to take it to Wonderfest after all that you went through.
What a thing of beauty! It's been a really entertaining and enlightening journey. Question: were you able to preserve any specular contrast between the blue and gingham after all the top coats you added? I can't see it in the videos.
That is an outstanding build. How outstanding? When, at 7:23 your arm came into view, I felt the same jarring shock that I get when I watch “behind the scenes” clips of the production crew doing something similar. I mean, I know it’s a model. But my WSOD tells me that it’s a gigantic starship parked in between stars with the power off. Then a human arm comes in and my WSOD turns around and starts whistling as if it wasn’t doing anything.
Excellent work Lou, it's always fascinating to watch you work. Out of interest - have you ever done, or would you be able to take a crack at one of the babylon stations?
@@aztekdummy oh really? I’ll have to check your archives. I loved the star fury design as well, but I think I was always more captivated with the minbari fleet and the earth alliance shadow fleet
What a truly amazing build. You have surpassed yourself..... I think you need a bigger house to make room for these incredible models. ... btw, where did you get the Dalek?
I saw some one came up with the idea of using a wall mount for a flat screen TV for their 1/350 Enterprise, sholder height and fold away from the wall for saucer cleaence
You look a little wan at the end thar, buddy-- a better thought than avoiding helping friends move furniture is to have additional friends to help spread the load out. Anyway! Nothing can take away the actually breath-taking presence of that grand beast. That's a very nice base and yes, you could cut that cord-- all it takes is patience splicing everything back together. Cable management also allows for better cord length. I have a suggestion about that "2"-- well, you know I had to, right? I think most of the perception that it is a little off, is that the bottom flat lines don't accord with the bottom of the hatchway. If you summon your nerves of steel, you could go in there and straighten out that bottom line with a fine brush (-- and a long-handled spoon!) and a matching grade of white paint. Similarly, you could apply some door-matching gray to the top edge of that bottom bar. Easy peasy! Don't worry about levitating over the body of the ship; rest up, it'll be easier after some sleep. Or of course, one could remove both decals and apply some white vinyl replacements. A little flat and they'd level out! I hope you're taking that well-deserved rest! The next subject is the right chaser for this feat.

Absolutely gobsmacked here ... Outstanding!

She looks good. The space backdrop really made the model pop.
Brilliant! Absolutely Brilliant! Can't wait to see Jim Henson!

What, no walking guy in the ready room behind the bridge like the opening credits? Slacker 😜 Awesome job!

Absolutely fantastic build!
Nice Job Lou. An ultimate D ,,,🖖🏻
That is a true work of art, fine Sir.
Fantastic build considering the trouble you had.
Sir, this looks awesome - thanks for sharing!

Very impressive sir! Turned out great!
Beautiful work Lou!!
This is Epic Lou!
You've done a MAN'S job there, Lou!😊
That looks and sounds fantastic. That was worth the perseverance. You are both inspirational & pragmatically minded Lou! Thank you.
She looks great Lou! The overall effects of light and sound really finish this off well. The smooth version of the D is my personal favorite!
Great job Lou. Too big a project to keep in my domain but I would build one for a client if I get a chance.
Sweet is right!!!! Awesome!!!
Gorgeous.
The Stars on the Back Drop Made It Look Even More Impressive If Thats Possible ! : )
I was very impressed with the work you have done to this model for it looks fantastic but you truly are an amazing and talented model builder,
absolutely stunning Lou. Awesome job
Wow. Just Wow Lou. I'm stunned.
excellent work!
Heh ... Your 'Steadicam' seems to be broken Lou. 😆👍
Congratulations on a job well done! It's a thing of beauty.

transport is an issue. Time will tell if it makes the trip
As awesome as it would be to bring it, I think the risk would be too great to chance it. The Mona Lisa stays in the Louvre. 😁😄
Great work! she is a beauty.
Coming together nicely
Well Done!
NUTHA AZTEK.........MASTERPIECE.
BEAUTIFUL!

Now I want one!!
What a beautiful lady. So cool!
Stop putzing around with the camera! LOL!
I see you were using the shaky cam style that's used in the current Trek. Looks great!
hazards of the job. I need to get a smoother tripod .
Excellent work Lou, it's always fascinating to watch you work. Out of interest - have you ever done, or would you be able to take a crack at one of the babylon stations?
@@OanKnight I did the old b5 station kit back in the day. I wasn't wild about the decals. I loved the star fury kit, tho.

there is a gentleman in Myrtle Beach who builds them in his garage. You can find him on Ebay.

great idea, but then I need to reinforce the studs n the wall. It never ends. 😁
The little lights aren’t twinkling Clark.
Find some Space for a space ship 😊
Great work Lou! Do you mine saying what your total cost in this was?
@@usafdummy I couldn't even estimate. Roughly 3 grand in parts and supplies.
@@aztekdummy It looks worth it, but it's been a long 13 or so weeks.
Awesome work!
Those deck 9 and 10 windows look awfully ... prominent. They seem a little too dark compared to the rest of the windows...
Step back Lou. Need to get the whole thing in the shot bud.
if the background sheet I had was bigger, I would have. I was trying to keep the stars filling the screen.

I'm ok with the number 2 looking like number 2. :)
@@aztekdummy Well spake, chum. The whole thing is overwhelming to the eye anyway.
1st to view.
