This video is from an old video series called fossil stories filmed and created by Valerie Smith in 2015. In this video Steve discusses something he is a little obsessive over: Barnacles. When Steve finds fossilised wood he doesn’t necessarily care for the wood but any barnacles he may find attached.

Oh that’s what they’re called. I’ve found them everywhere.
They are fascinating little things, we often see modern ones washing up here on pieces of drift wood.
