Hi Mark & Gina, The wrecks at the end of Calle Cuac (Playacar) are in the process of being removed. Your assessment of the condos where we were neighbours (CDN spelling) was spot on. And we agree that Fani, our host, is excellent. We enjoy your videos and look forward to the next one. Rich & Cathy
Your place looked cute, it seemed fairly bright too. When the camera was in the bathroom I was checking for hair stuck to the tiles, lol. (Sorry, too soon.) Was that your landlady waving from the steps at the beginning? I'm happy for you that she was a wonderful hostess considering where you came from. Looking forward to more Tulum videos!
Thanks, Cindy. Trust us we were looking for them as well. LOL That was Saundra, one of the cleaning staff. They were great. Not sure how much is going to be coming out of Tulum as we have been there done that mode here. We will be showing the Airbnb and definitely the cost wrap up of both Playacar and here in Tulum.
@@annyvettelb1 LOL, now why am I not surprised. You better find out who owns that lot behind you so you can turn it into a playground for your growing pack of dogs.
Nice place, like the rooftop arrangement. Mark mentioned Check point Charlie! I went to Germany on vacation, I did actually crossed. Alfa and Bravo too! Drove from Frankfurt to Berlin and went to the whole shenanigans of the crossings!
Yeah, Denise, that was a shocker, but we were just so ready to have a CLEAN place to sleep for the next 7 weeks, we sort of were stuck. And yeah, Playacar isn't cheap. LOL
Yeah, Playacar isn't cheap. We were really struggling to find a place after the Campeche fiasco so we had to take what we could find. It hurt to say the least. LOL
We were really over a barrel there. Needed someplace quick and available for the whole 7 weeks and there just weren't a lot of options that were available to us. There were some that were a whole lot more expensive, thus, that is why they were still available. LOL It was a nice place and it was clean. Thanks

Thanks Rich and Cathy. Glad to hear that they are removing those eyesores from the end of the street. Enjoy the rest of your time there in Playacar!
Love the monkey bridges.
Beautiful place!!! 😍
Cat fights!!! WTF LOL
Great video, as always!
Took us a while to figure out what those were. Yeah, the cats weren't to happy with each other and that was a pretty routine event. Thanks.
Thumbs up to Mark’s shirt.
Paul Rogers, the best front man in rock! Love them! Thanks for watching.

Love seeing your faces!!! 😍
9 more months and we will be there for a solid 6 months. We can't wait to catch up with the two of you.
I'll mention now, we rescued another dog! A mama with 2 pups. The pups were adopted out though.

That had to be worse than getting into Playacar, maybe. LOL
Such a cute place, but woah, the price. I guess combination of tourist area and having to book last minute.

I figured abt $123 USD if I’m not mistaken a night, not a bad deal.
@@lindafuentes646 holy crap that's spendy....
I can so relate to Gina’s shirt! 😁
As we age I think it gets easier for all of us to relate to that sentiment Lora.
@@GringosRUs i was thinking it is related to letting go of the daily grind in the US - lol
@@lorabarton3403Could be that as well. LOL
@@GringosRUs I’m in my countdown zone
@@lorabarton3403 Outstanding. It was amazing how quickly that happened for us. Hope it works the same for you.
Wait??? $6000 dollars for 7 weeks??? 😮

Holy cow, USD$3K/7 weeks?! But yes, it is a very nice place indeed
