- One person was injured after a Russian missile attack narrowly missed a hospital in Ukraine's Kharkiv on Saturday and left a large crater in the ground.
There were 63 people inside one of the hospital’s blocks during the attack, according to Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov. “It is a great luck, because if this rocket hit one of the blocks there would be many casualties,” Terekhov said.
Windows from one of the blocks next to the site of the attack were blown out from the blast's impact.
The commander of the Ukrainian air force said Russia had launched combined overnight strikes using a total of 34 cruise and ballistic missiles of which Ukrainian air defence shot down 21.

This is probably the worst cover up ever from the Russian government. Is this supposed make me believe that they weren't targeting the hospital? It literally hit the hospital ground and partially damaged the hospital. Russia is a terrorist state.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Saturday that the gas facilities targeted by Russian airstrikes earlier today were crutial transit facilities for the security of supplies to the European Union.
"Today's Russian missile attack targeted Ukraine's energy system and its various facilities, including the electrical grid and the gas transit system, especially the gas infrastructure that guarantees the security of supplies to the EU," Zelensky said in a video address.
