    So happy to see this video,Maria! LOVE the card you CASEd from the catalog....along with this set! YOUR creation w/the Birch background is so pretty ~~ I,too, love tone on tone! :-)). I REALLY appreciate the “dauber tip” to smooth out the ink on the photopolymer stamp, especially when using a new ink pad or one that’s just been re-inked to get a better image for your project! THAT IS REALLY CLEVER! :-)) I liked the Shaded Spruce leaves that you incorporated as well since I don’t think of that color as often! Really nice! Happy to see that you DID do the inside layer w/stamping~~and even with “bloops” you made it look lovely! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! ENJOY YOUR DAY! :-))

    Using a mat under your project might be useful with this stamp set. Thanks for sharing. I loved your video.

    Thank you for sharing this pretty card, and showing ways to cope with accidents. I wondered if using the piercing mat might help with the gaps.

      You are most welcome Lynn and I am so pleased you enjoyed my video! A piercing mat might have helped, but in this case I prefer a stamp positioning tool. I don't have much luck with a block sometimes so I just use the stamp positioning tool to be sure. Thank you so much for watching my video I really appreciate it. :-)

    Nice work. I was shown several times on videos, that when you are using the clear stamps, to put a mouse or foam cushion underneath the project. Much less mess ups for me. Take care.

    Beautiful card. Your accident created a fantastic solution, just what I was thinking. The birch folder really added the perfect background. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas.

    What a pleasant surprise to have a video from you today, Maria! It is a Monday in Australia and you probably felt that way too! Ha! Ha! But your card cane together beautifully in the end. And it’s good to see how you corrected things along the way too. Love the birch background stamp especially and the petal pink is a beautiful colour.

      Thank you so much for watching and I am so pleased you like the card. Lots of mistakes in this video but it is good to see them and see how they can be corrected. It also shows that everyone makes mistakes no matter what level experience they may have. I love the Birch background stamp, it is one of favourite stamp sets in catalogue. Petal Pink is gorgeous, so soft and subtle, just love it.

    Thank you so much for not editing this video. I have had so much trouble with photopolyma stamps in the past that it put me right off buying them. However, I love this set so will now give it a try.

    Gorgeous card and gorgeous stampset. A must have for me.
    I saw a video where someone pushed the extra ink to the sides of the inkpad to get a good impression from a distinctive stamp. It seems to be harder when the pad is quite juicy.

    • @poppycitrus
      @poppycitrus  5 років тому

      Thank you so much for your kind feedback, I really appreciate it. You can most definitely push the ink into the inkpad, but I am too lazy! lol.

    • @poppycitrus
      @poppycitrus  5 років тому +1

      Hi Chipeco, if the image isn't stamping well, you may have a faulty stamp. I strongly suggest you contact Stampin Up! or your demonstrator and let them know your issue with the stamp. A replacement will probably be sent to you.

    • @poppycitrus
      @poppycitrus  5 років тому

      Yes definitely ring Stampin Up! or your demo to get a replacement.

    When I was teaching card classes my motto was, "fix it" when a mistake happened. The students got real good at fixing things.

    • @poppycitrus
      @poppycitrus  5 років тому

      Fixing mistakes is really good and sometimes these 'mistakes' can end up giving you a better result too (at times). Thanks so much for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it. :-)
