Nice video. I am extracting 10-12 even from a 1 month old Kushaq AT (Driven 1700 Kms out of which >50% was within city) . It's just you have to take care of the RPM. 1500 to 2000.
I agree with most points here. People coming over from naturally aspirated engines have a habit of accelerating more to get the desired power and get the car moving. In case of turbo charged petrol engines that isn't required at all. Shift before 2500 rpm and accelerate smoothly and you will get good mileage. There is no need to be feather light with the throttle. Just accelerate gradually and avoid depressing the throttle more than 1/4th for mileage. I have noticed that mileage mostly stays the same if you shift at 2000 or 2500 rpm. Even if you shift at 3000 rpm you can extract good mileage (1-2 kmpl down than 2000rpm shifts). I have extracted mileage of 20.4 kmpl in peak summers with AC at 20.5 with 4 people + full luggage on highways with speeds between 90-110 and average at 100. Tip - Try to use engine braking whenever possible rather than brakes on highways (only if you maintain safe distance from vehicles). That way you can get even more mileage. Example - If you see a slowdown further ahead, leave the throttle and let the car cost and decelerate for a bit before hitting the brakes. Same case when you are about to arrive at a toll booth.

I have a VW Taigun 1.0 MT high line and have many issues. 1)Drvr side window has its own mind. 2)Noise from brake lever. 3)AC cooling issue. 4)New issue of infotainment system getting blurred observed few days back during the noon and after around driving for 30 minutes it became normal. 5)Door lock light blinking.Observed after one day after rain. 6)All chrome rusting.Vehicle is 17 month old. If you have faced any of these issues and could find a solution please help me in this. I reside in NCR. Thanks & Regards.
@@manojpatra1 get software update that will resolve Window issue, ac issue Visit SC they can help in rest of the issues and for crome rust they have a polish which cleans rust and do not wash your vehicle with hard water…

@@AbhinavSingh-my2qd almost 12.5K KM. Yes, it improves a bit after 3-4K KM if I remember correctly. Also, I keep the tyre pressure with Nitrogen 36PSI, lower tyre pressure affects mileage Quite a bit.

As per Volkswagen tech sheet: at police points and red lights, only brake should be applied in D mode, no need to shift to N. Properly braking in D mode releases the clutch in DSG gear box, hence no wear and tear of clutch mechanism.

I consistently get 17-18.5kmpl on my 1L AT Taigun on highways
in city it varies from 9.5 kmpl to 12.5 kmpl, depending upon how bad the traffic is
Is it with AC or without AC. Do you use xp 95 petrol or normal one..!!

In normal petrol, I have also noticed mild power/acceleration drop.

What about auto stop in skoda kushaq which is used for conditions like red light on signals? Taigun doesn't has that or what?
