Know exactly what you're saying. Our property was already dictated due to well location and existing shelters. To follow the run of the sun and making wind breaking. But grateful that I can grow. Just making it work.

Great video. It sucks when you realize that your plan or project is going to create a whole new set of problems. Better to start on paper.

Love your channel. Placement of things certainly do make a difference. My city boy husband planted 3 new peach trees right over our lateral lines🙄!! I can't convince him to move them, he's never heard of it being a problem. Help me Lord 🙏. You got a video on that may be?

Thank you. I haven’t done a video on that but those roots will invade your system and eventually cause problems. Peach trees won’t grow that fast but over time you might have an issue. We did do a video on replacing septic lines though…lol.

At least when it bust the lines. The trees will be fertilized. 😆

First view of one of your videos. Interesting points. I am praying to find a place. Like you I will probably end up with someone else's poor planning.

Thanks. Don't worry, you can overcome that poor planning if the infrastructure is sparse wherever you buy. Anything you add is an opportunity to improve it. God will provide.

Good video. I designed my house and located everything from there. Another thought is house orientation. I have a lot of glass on the south side. House south southeast. Morning and afternoon sun heats the house up quickly. I keep a tablet of graph paper on hand at all times. Just for ideas and planning.

Thank you. I am an architect and know the value of planning. I wanted to share that importance with everyone.

I’ll keep my chickens, garden and everything else out of direct sight of my back windows. Get to much crap and just looks like big eye sore. I just want to see woods!

Ok. You can design it to look beautiful. I agree with keeping your nice forest views though….we didn’t obstruct ours.
