I used to be the remote for our VCR. Boy oh boy if only I had this as a kid! I think this might be your coolest watch yet bro! Your son was not impressed but he knew it was you haha! I like the layout of it. The buttons also seem substantial! Too bad it doesn't have a light but I think this is a superb watch! It kind of reminds me of a sci-fi droid now that I think about it haha! I’m right there with you. All of us kids were the channel changers and when the tv was acting funny with edited lines and scrolling, my brother or I would strategically slap the side of the tv to bring it back into compliance. I agree with you, this is a the coolest Casio to date…there’s one more in the hopper I think might out do this watch in the long run….i think I’ve hit a vintage Casio steak.
I watching Aliens with Josiah and I was trying to decipher what watches were being worn and I couldn’t tell if it was a mocked up Casio or one of a kind.

Pretty cool watch, I don’t recall this model. As a kid of the 1970’s, yes we all were channel-changers/volume control units. I joined the Marines in 1984, my parents still didn’t have any remote control tv’s or own a VCR nor a microwave. To think how far we’ve come since those days….
I remember the day we got a microwave. We went through a loaf of bread just heating up each piece of bread for 8seconds so it was warm! Tech has definitely made our lives more convenient. Thanks for watching and sharing.

The CMD40 even received a “that’s the coolest Casio you own,” from my step son. I’m officially cool.
The audio was completely messed up. An echo was happening. Had to delete it. We’ll do it again soon. It was a fun topic.
