When Egypt gets older and goes through some things and finally leaves Sam she will look back at these episodes and find that Titi only wanted what's best for her, her parents were wrong for ignoring all the red flags cause they have lived life they should be giving sound advice but oh well
Her parents realize that if they give her advice she will distance herself from them like she did to Titi. Egypt is rebelling against her proper upbringing and wants to prove to everyone that they were wrong about Sam.

True the day came sooner than expected
She's young and love is blind. If she had the love of a real mother who should be teaching her about her self-worth and a father to teach her how a man should treat her she wouldn't be looking for love in a worthless good for nothing. Both her parents failed her. Pep seems to like Sam more than her own daughter and I don't understand that or why she doesn't have the motherly instincts to spot a cunning snake around her daughter, using her and destroying her life.
