How do you become a master in Muay Thai, like Kru F a former stadium champion who rivalled Saenchai?
Phettho Sitjaopho is so technically brilliant that he is widely regarded as the coach with the most beautiful Muay Thai.
He's also charmingly eloquent in his ability to explain everything, despite not being a native english speaker.
When fighting or sparring someone with more experience, is it better to wait for the counterattack?
Does it matter who you fight? And does it matter who your training partners are?
Kru F explains all of that in this video.

Got a chance to get on a zoom training session with the both of them 2 months ago, while it’s not the same as in person but the knowledge they shared was so next level even with just the fundamentals.

I’m recently transitioning from boxing to Muay Thai and I would consider myself a slick fighter who can move and a little defensively savvy. But my first day in the Muay Thai gym I was getting the ish kicked outta me, literally. For some reason I was also getting punched a lot more too. I noticed my boxing stance is almost completely useless even though it helped me maneuver better in boxing but having your front leg too forward is like free dibs to these Muay Thai fighters smh. Punches were coming thru and kicks, trynna understand which stance to use while in sparring 😂. I’m trynna find a way to be a defensive fighter that can move but idk how to do it properly in Muay Thai. Without getting punished since there’s kicks involved. Starting to see balance and staying strong in your position is what most Muay Thai fighters do. I’m starting to watch more Muay Thai videos to get more information on how they fight since I kinda just jumped right in thinking it’ll be similar since I have “fighting experience” but clearly it didn’t matter cause I was getting ragged dolled 😂

    Hi bro..
I am in tamilnadu Chennai India..
    First I subscribed ur channel
    For the name... its Lawrence...
My passed away elder bros name and my interest in martial arts...
I lost my youth even then I haven't lost my trust r faith in mar arts...
    It's my dream till now...
From where I was born u can find my tradition which I know very well... even though this comment is for what i expect....
    Teaching has 2 ways...
    Commercial and passing the knowledge....
I have seen and still watching 100s of couchers in one way...
    Commercial.. sorry to say this....
    My expectation....
No one has taught martial arts from beginers to master for free...
    Y y y
Art is a GIFT WHICH SHOULD BE PASSED ON
    NOT WITH ONLY GRNERATIONS...
Eras has gone....Now it's time to pass it on to anyone who is interested.... Days where there before thinking not to fall in wrong hands....THE MAJOR PRINCIPLE OF M ARTS IS IT WILL MAKE A HUMAN TO BECOME GOOD even if he starts with bad intentions....
What I am saying is I cannot come to ur place to learn...
Y people like u start classes as vids and a special playlist and teach from a day one class to master level.....
    Hope u understand...
    If not 91 94452 33733

Yes. I spar with my teacher. I progress more quickly than sparring with stranger. But occasional sparring with unknown partner is also very beneficial. How ever, sparring with person not knowing muaythai is counter productive.
