As someone who only listens to Ateez casually and doesn't know much about them (but loves both Jolly and Mel) these two seem SO charming and down to earth! While watching I was actually super impressed by both of their English because you can hear that they might not speak it that often and make grammar mistakes but the vocabulary that they use is actually really advanced. And I have so much respect for people who aren't fluent in a language but don't let that hold them back from communicating freely. They were so happy to be there and speak in English even though they could've easily relied on Josh for translations since he knows Korean. And the fact that Hongjoong said he learned English because of Jolly makes it all extra wholesome! Such lovely people 🥰
38:00 Hongjoong did got the answer right, but Yunho and Jongho were trying to give the points to San and Yeosang (hongjoong later catches that and they all played along to give San and Yeosang also points)
It makes me smile so much when people learn and show an interest in Ateez. It makes me feel so proud 🥹 on the wanteez episode the quality is like that I think because it’s supposed to be like an old game show quality feel. Hongjoong and Seonghwa got the answer quicker than they thought for the car question , and you see Jongho and Yunho flustered and look to the staff because San and Yeosang didn’t get any points yet. So all of Ateez caught on to that and wanted Yeosang and San to get points so they answered wrong 🥹💛

I totally understand the fact that you get emotional with the positive comments from non-Ateez fans, the day when I read the comments I was smiling like a fool, but very proud to know that even those who don't know, realize how wonderful they are. I felt the same way when I heard that Olivier Rousteing himself (designer of the luxury brand BALMAIN and who is HJ's favorite fashion icon/role model) invited Hongjoong to a more intimate event during Paris Fashion Week, he even posted pictures with HJ on personal instagram and even called HJ the Prince of Balmain. And he really looked like a prince, because the look was simply DIVINE, I expect no less from our Captain. He fulfilled a dream, he was so happy, I almost cried with emotion and pride. Okay, now we're two emotives. 😂
As much as I love ATEEZ CB but I also want them to have some time to themselves but unfortunately they have more shows to do they were supposed to fly back to Korea last night because they have Kcon Thailand on March 18th-19th but there flight got delayed so they are supposed to be back sometime today and then they have there Japanese Limitless CB on March 22nd and of course the members also have there work to go back to like Yeosang, Yuno, and Hongjoong. Atinys are thinking a Korean CB will be in May. The photo shoot was for a Japanese magazine called S Cawaii Men and there is three different versions white, black, and red they were released on February 28th and you can still buy them
Just a quick comment to the Wanteez 'car' quiz part: Hongjoong got the 'wrong answer' because they instead wanted to give Yeosang and San the points ^^
that's why Hongjoong switched his answer and also Woo said something wrong and that's also why Jongho had this 'giving up' moment when Yeosang said 'camping car' after the others had already offered him the correct answer lol

seeing u get so emotional by the comments that was me when i saw them, i actually loved that hongjoong kept making jocks in English in that fish and chips thig he was so funny and charming and san being totally introvert and his cute reactions 😂, also we are so proud of our captain being achieving his dreams one by one first his photo exhibition and now in fashion i hope he gets all the good things in this life because he is definitely deserve it in seonghwa recent live he said that between the concerts and their stuffed schedule hongjoong kept going to work on their music this man doesn't know how to rest i just so impressed by him

Don't worry, Mel, the comments made me emotional too - it was so nice to read them. San and Hongjoong were so relaxed and happy which was lovely to see. It feels like we don't realise from concert clips and interviews just how proficient they have become at speaking English. Honestly, we are so lucky as a fandom that they want to take the time and effort to learn to this high standard when they already lead such busy lives.
I'll just reiterate here what I said on another reaction to the Jolly video: I'm a Brit but I have never seen any other Brit put that much salt on anything before. Yes, chips must always have salt (imo) but my insides shrivelled and died when I saw that. Also, mushy peas usually get a bit of salt and pepper mixed in but that's it. I'm not ever so fond. Thankfully I have never tried pickled egg. 🤢
You lecturing Hongjoong on his veggie intake was hilarious. I knew that would set you off. 😆 It makes me wonder about the endoscopy results though. None of them seem that big on veg so I wonder if that has affected them at all.
The Wanteez ep was so much fun. Hongjoong and Seonghwa, I just don't know what to say. I had tears rolling down my face with their team chant. 25:17 San was just too adorable with his "it's me?" And, oh my god, Yeosang's little face when he lost the 'So What' battle...😭

First thing I watched this morning! The Jolly show was SO DAMN GOOD!! I agree with Liv..it’s one of the best shows they’ve done. I loved every single second of it. The faces they made were just ✨chefs kiss✨ Loved the new Wanteez episode too..next week looks so good!🤣 And always love the logbooks. The photoshoot was..it was a lot.😮💨 Watching these again with you was the best way to wake up.🥰🥰😘😘

pickled stuff taste... vinegary, sour and salty; i also cry when they get praised, like, full on sob :'D im so proud of them! And at the end of the Wanteez ep (Cha dong cha), they just wanted to give the golden maltese team a chance so pretended to get the answer wrong (they communicated this with their eye lmfaoooo)
When the fish and chips video dropped, it was literally around the time that woke up and even though I was groggy when I woke up, I IMMEDIATELY shrieked like a banshee and jumped out of bed the second I got this notification!! 😂And, the face that San makes when they tell them about the pickled egg is so hilarious and adorable at the same time!!😍😍😍😍 During Logbook 107, at 45:00, the way Jongho hugs Mingi from behind and puts his head on him, which makes Mingi have an EVEN BIGGER SMILE, always warms my heart 🥰🥰 And, during Logbook 108, at 1:00:32, I still can't believe that Jongho let Yunho smoosh his face not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES!! 😱😱 I was worried for Yunho's safety at that moment 😱😱🤣🤣🤣🤣

The Magazin is: Cawaii Japan, it's 3 different versions (one for each outfit) they were released last week and can be bought e.g. through CD Japan or HMV websites ^^ (just like their Limitless Comeback pre-order btw hehe)
They also have another Ateez Japan Magazin issue that can still be bought 'KPop Next Ateez' released in January ^^

30:55 you have never watched “REPLY 1988”? It’s one of the best KDRAMA ever, personally it’s my all time favourite. It has funny moments, romance, sadness, iconic characters, amazing guess stars and cameos, and so on. You have to watch it. Extremely recommended.
So many people have told me to watch it but I just haven’t got around to it! Will 100000% watch though 🙈

Stopping to comment -- You said you've been watching Josh and Ollie since before you listened to kpop. That's basically what I commented on the Jolly channel after I watched their video.
I can't remember how I came across them, but I've been subscribed to both of their channels for years. So when I saw the thumbnail with Ateez (well, HJ and San), I was ready to jump through the roof with excitement!
I wish we could see all of them with Josh and Ollie. I know I'd be cry-laughing the whole time. It'd be hilarious!

Edit: pickled onions etc are pickled in vinegar and salt 🤢 so a proper attack on the senses. And I'm so glad they picked Hongjoong for this, he has the best reactions to food 😆. Oh and yes that's how much the staff put salt on when you get it to take away ha, literally drown it! 😳
In the 2nd video, the car bit you were confused at, they wanted to give the point to Yeosang/San as they had no points, but Hongjoong got the answer too quick, so they started messing around for them to get the point 🙂
not you crying over the precious comments. i checked out the comment section after watching it too, since they have a huge following that might not know kpop or ateez. but the comments, my heart grew 2 sizes. they were all sooo nice. both hongjoong and san are amazing though, it seems like they caught onto most of the conversation and were able to reply quickly.
that wanteez episode was soo funny. seonghwa and hongjoongs team chant, the nyaaaaa, hilarious. and the skrr skrr. as some comments said, hongjoong got the answer right too fast, but they wanted to give san and yeosang points, so they "gave" them the answer, but then yeosang said camping car, which wasn't technically the answer. so thats why the editor edited ? over everyones face. because they gave yeosang the answer, yet he didnt say exactly what hongjoong said. the cutie, honestly. very funny very cute.
the photoshoot is for s cawaii japanese magazine. ISNT THAT BLACK OUTFIT ON SEONGHWA THE BEST THING. there's just something about seonghwa with black hair that makes me speechless. but they all look amazing. all of them. yunho looked sooo beautiful.
honestly logbook 107 is one of my favorites. just so entertaining. so entertaining.
I also hope they rest. but i guess if they love what they do, it just stresses them out more that they're not doing anything. but we still want them to spend a day not doing anything and having a break.
i'm thinking may comeback, but who even knows anymore. at least we have their limitless japan comeback soon. i get excited for new music. i can't wait to hear what diamond sounds like!

When i saw the fish and chips comments i was so overwhelmed too and so proud of them, and i don't know these two English men but i liked that one of them already knew about hongjoong tooth and kept teasing him about it like he knows them for a long time lol and the new experience thing they were so funny😂 and what hongjoong said at the end he was so humble too 🥲

Hongjoong reminds me of my seven year old son 😂 my son doesn’t eat anything green he won’t eat veggies. I got him to eat one Brussel sprout snd it took him a half hour to eat one 😂 and he was taking the leafs off of it to make it smaller 😂😂

British flag is a part of the Australian flag too! But I just always associate fish and chips with NZ because its a common thing to mimic the NZ accent when saying fish and chips lol.

However not anymore but the monarch of the UK is still the head of state of Australia and 'rules' through a governor-general. There was talk about changing our flag at one point but nothing ever came of it 🤷🏼♀️

Pickled eggs are not fermented they are just pickled in vinegar and spice..also saveloy tastes nothing like a frankfurter it has more spices and the casing is a little tougher but still prefer it.. mushy peas though are revolting but I just do not like peas in any form.
So what’s the difference between fermenting and pickling?? 😅 I clearly am not very good in the kitchen hahaha
@@melaniereacts had to look it up poppet pickling is soaking it in an acidic brine solution, while fermenting is a little more natural and retains more nutrients I think.

7:04 not you googling the pronunciation of words too. I do the same often lately. Only bc my 6yo is always in dispute w my hubby over how words are to be pronounced. We are not native speakers of English btw. But my lil kids are raised on Peppa Pig, Steve & Maggie, so they always have the Standard British pronunciation & my poor hubby will always get schooled by them. Ok, end of TMI.
