Small sound is acceptable If you find that something obstructing your rotator arms then there will be a sound lik tak tak Then it means that you are not loading the vessel correctly
Yesterday I installed my Neptune vx dishwasher, person who comes for demo they filled salt chamber completely but they not filled it by water, but after that my dishwasher shows a salt indicator.

Hi , Iam using ifb neptune vx plus, and added external water softener device as suggested by installation guy due to water hardness of 700 tds.

Did you fill the salt
If so check the salt level in your dishwasher as it might not be sufficient set it as 4 or 5

Yes u have to fill the salt chamber with water till it over flows
Otherwise it will show salt indicator
You have to check your salt level indicator settings before starting your dishwasher

Mere new dishwasher me Salt 15 din me khatam ho gya.
Purane wale me aisa nahi hota tha pura 28/30 din chalta tha
Check your salt level in dishwasher panel
If it’s high then lower it to level 3 then it will be fine
I have adjusted to level 3 and it takes nearly 1 month to complete
