These vintage style ornaments are beautiful!
I have loved this style for many years.
As far as over thinking your technique, don't worry, It is refreshing to see someone who cares about the quality of their work.
Good job on adapting your mistake by using the glitter as snow😊 Happy crafting and Happy Independence Day!

I appreciate your concern about the quality of your crafts. Not everyone takes the time to do things "right." I would be crushed if one of my items fell apart after gifting. I could get more items done if I cut some corners, but I just can't do it. 😳😨😂

Hey Shanda! Loving the vintage style of these ornaments. You do such beautiful work. I love to decoupage and use the iron on method. I’ve never made ornaments but will in the future. Hope you are well!

Love these prints. I just bought 13 different packs of these vintage prints from Temu. Making Christmas cards for a fundraiser. Loved the idea of ornaments. You got me thinking to include some in addition. I'm sure I have enough prints! Thank you! Great for gift packages also.
What I use to size an image is to cut to size the clear hard plastic that comes on bakery items. Hope this helps make it a little easier for you.

On the house ornament...did you use glitter paper on the back or did you glue the glitter to the painted wood? Thanks!

Hi Vicki... I painted on a layer of Mod Podge and sprinkled with glitter. Once it was dry I sprayed it with hair spray to help with fall off 😊 Also, I forgot to mention that I prepped the surface of the wood first with white chalk paint before I applied the glitter. Only on the house ornament.

Thanks for the info! One thing I've learned the hard way, tho...hair spray tends to yellow in time. I use a clear spray sealer now. 😊

That is good to know! That's the first time I have ever used hairspray. Typically I use a spray on Mod Podge but I don't know why I didn't. I appreciate you letting me know 😌

I do like to include pricing in my videos but I wasn't sure what I wanted to sell these for yet. I think I will sell them for $12. I would love to know how you would price these?
