For those of you who don’t know what a “Super Ceramic” is, it’s a type of ceramic bloon that replaces regular ceramic bloons later on in the game. They only contain 1 rainbow bloon, but have much more health.
Since the monkey knowledge makes it so the turbocharge ability gives Camo detection, and Permacharge is basically just a permanent turbocharge, it should just have camo detection straight up, if you reeeaaaallly think about it.
bloons solver has got to be the best ceramic popper in the entire game, especially for its cheap price. M.A.D. is probably the best tower in the whole game for popping moabs (for the price, of course) permaspike is just incredibly reliable, super cheap, and does INSANE damage, with a max pile and buffs he can solo round 200 (and its literally less than 40k)
Tbf, that was round 63. I would really doubt the usefulness of AP if it couldn't defeat that round on a medium map, just because of the multiple lanes.
He ranked several of the best towers really low in that tier list. Lych's whole thing is that it steals buffs and most of the normal really good towers rely on buffs.
I feel like on top of doing hero weaknesses you should eventually do 4th tier weaknesses. There are so many towers that I would just never get the 5th tier because of the price tag and the 4th tier is still a great tower. Like 400 ice for example, given its buff I’ve been using it quite a bit but I never use 500 outside of bosses because as you mentioned, the price. Similar thing with 004/005 engi, 4th tier is great for early money but the 5th is just too expensive and is a damage support tower and not a money making tower.
I have compiled a list of etienne and psi's weaknesses in a normal chimps game below; Thus concludes my list of etienne and psi's weaknesses, thank you for reading.
@@usernametaken017 Etienne is arguably best used for the fact of the global camo, which is amazing on multi-lane advanced and expert maps where it really isn't cost efficient to use multiple villages in general. Drones and UCAV do decently good damage, especially since once Etienne reaches level 16 his range gets increased massively, allowing drones to deal a lot more damage. Etienne is also REALLY good because he's the only hero outside of the original 4 which level up at a normal rate. Psi's ability to one shot any bloon regardless of location is still not useless, especially on rounds with grouped ceramics. Their level 3 and 10 are solid knockback/stun abilities for most rounds, even then by the time you need Psi for grouped/multiple moab/bfb destruction they'll be at that level anyways, especially on advanced and expert maps since they level up faster. Plus, you guessed it, their global attacks/abilities give them the upper hand over most other heroes. tl;dr: global range stronk

Benjamin: Extra income he provides is nonexistent in CHIMPS, Syphon Funding is very risky, as it can defeat thick hordes and downgrades MOABs and BFBs at the cost of destroying your eco. Ezili: Sacrificial Totem cannot be used in CHIMPS, unlikely to get her to max level, which allows her to OHKO BADs. For some towers like MDom, the saveup is iffy because Press is a support tower that does nothing against Bloons. However, for some towers like BEZ, their T4, BADS is amazing and usually saveups directly to BEZ with a bit of support.
Every monkey has a weakness, except for 0-0-0 dart monkey of course. Chimps would be impossible without the trio ;) Also would love to see a hero version, I wonder what Quincey’s would be 🤔
Regarding MOAB Eliminator, it is not just a round 100 counter. Its main attack does 100 moab damage so it’s pretty solid against dense MOAB rounds too, the ability is really just a bonus. The comparison of MOAB Elim to First Strike and Spike Storm is illogical, they’re used for totally separate things. Regarding Sub Commander, you ALWAYS wanna spam 204 subs with it, not 203. Since it doubles sub damage, it also doubles the MOAB damage of an AP darts. It also doesn’t need a lot of water, it’s good on even Bloody Puddles CHIMPS which has hardly any water available for it. Regarding Cluster Bomb spam, yeah that’s not actually a thing. It’s a pretty silly strategy and realistically you never use it over maulers. Regarding Sentry Champion, the explosions really do not matter. If I were to give it a weakness, I’d say that it relies a ton on buffs. Since stuff like jungle drums and call to arms basically double stack on it, they’re super good combos with it but without those specific supports, it’s pretty damn weak. Regarding Monkeyopolis, it really doesn’t need much space. Even if you sac a single BRF to it, it can turn a profit. With 2 BRFs and higher, it gets insane. Reason being it essentially doubles the income per round of all the factories sacrificed to it, which means insane value. A better weakness would be that it’s so expensive to set up, you realistically only use it for bosses and freeplay (even though I’d argue freeplay isn’t a valid point of balance but that’s different)
I mean, MOAB Elim, First Strike and Spike Storm are all towers with an activated ability which specializes at MOAB damage, so I can see the comparison being made
The 100 damage is nice, but if you are getting it for its attack damage then you should be spending that money on more moab maulers (especially if you have a PE up and running)
Alright I can’t argue against the fact that it’s better to use maulers, but even though mauler spam is better than an elim’s main attack, that still doesn’t mean that it isn’t a good main attack
@@Hbomb Bomb shooter isn't much of a mode tower but a situational tower. 5-0-0 is excellent for stalling bloons and MOAB class, but falls out of usage in bosses. 0-5-0 is good at damaging the Moab classes but honestly a 0-3-0 spam is probably more efficient as 0-4-0 and 0-5-0 focus on the ability more, but over all it's decent for the extra damage. 0-0-5 is good at area control with it's frag bombs, and speeding it up with buffs will only make it even more of an area control procing the fragged frag bombs in incredible speed. The passive however is only reliable in modes you got more than 1 life, thud making it better to just stay at 0-0-4 in Impoppable and CHIMPS
5:38, I love how he says the Ray of doom does bad against fortified DDT’s but then shows footage of it demolishing multiple of them by itself with ease lol
I can think of a niche weakness of the perma charge: in super late free play rounds, its dps isn't high enough and on mobile I reccomend only the vtsg, hero, paragons, mad, and anything to buff towers or stall and debuff bloons because more towers and projectiles causes lag. Also, it needs a village, decamoization, or activating its ability while having unlocked a certain monkey knowledge to see camo I believe.
Looking back now with the bloon solver being massively buffed, the bit showing what it did to bloons is crazy, since now it could absolutely destroy all those ceramics in less then a second
Blooncineration's weakness is the same as middle path Heli. It's a support tower until tier 5 so it needs the right towers to make up for its mediocre damage.
I very much appreciate the effort Ninja Kiwi puts into BTD6 balance patches. The teams' explanations for every tower changed per major update demonstrate their sheer attention to detail. Video games are difficult to balance and especially rebalance post-launch. Perfect statistical balance is **not** the ultimate goal, and gamers are generally more sensitive to nerfs than buffs (or lost aversion). Fun/Player enjoyment is also an important factor which does overlap with the viability of one option over another. In the case of Bloons TD 6, not every tower is meant to be equally effective in every game mode. If they were, I believe that would either make each mode less interesting (i.e: more boring) or overcomplicate things. * I proposed giving all heroes excluding Benjamin special bonuses whenever a Boss Bloon is alive, because Ben is by-far the most useful hero for such events. What if the 'direct-attacking' heroes deal bonus boss damage that scales with their level, while Psi destroys bloons faster? * Some towers that normally give bonus income could be buffed in other ways for CHIMPS exclusively. ...
a strat for chimps on balance: just get 2 villages and a 4 or 5-2-0 alch and a bottom 2-0-5 tack shooter in the middle and boom you can beat most rounds easily but ya might wanna get monkey pirates or pirate lord in the body of water closest to the tack shooter
8:24 also spike storm neuters bloon economy boosting setups (ie rubber to gold alch + traps) to a standstill, while being super useful vs lych it can fuck you over if you over rely on it (if only you could turn off its automatic spike storm ability)
Moab eliminator's main weaknesses weren't adressed, because it does what it is supposed to do well, but you see. the moab eliminator struggles with super ceramic rushes. It has no overall buffs aside from the first 2 upgrades of each of the paths you choose for your bomb shooter.
Catagories for for each t5 tower and the example for each: 1. Overpriced (True/Vengful Sun God) 2. Outclassed/Unreliable (Super Glue) 3. Has its own Upsides and downsides (M.A.D kills MOAB class Bloons, but sucks against normal bloons) 4. Chimps and Impoppable limits their full potential (Elite Defender and Bomb Blitz need to lose a life for their abilities to work or anything that's soul purpose is for cash) 5. Relies on other towers TO buff/assist (Permabrew/Villages) 6. Relies on other towers FOR buffs/debuffs (Grandmaster/Avatar of Wrath)

However, for some towers like BEZ, their T4, BADS is amazing and usually saveups directly to BEZ with a bit of support.
Can you reply with that same comment but without the acronyms lol I don't know what a damn bez is but I would love to know how it goes with a bads
@@GrimmReaperRL Late but here you go:
Psi = the hero Psi
Maim = Maim Moab (Sniper)
Draft = Downdraft (Heli)
Paccel = Plasma Accelarator (Dartling)
MDom = Moab Domination (Boomerang)
Press = Moab Press (Boomerang)
BEZ = Bloon Exclusion Zone (Dartling)
BADS = Bloon Area Denial System (Dartling)
my favourite video by far
also plz make longer videos like this. I enjoy watching longer videos
Thanks! I will stop forcing videos to be shorter, but I don't want to fill them with fluff. So it'll depend on how much each idea deserves
Every monkey has a weakness, except for 0-0-0 dart monkey of course. Chimps would be impossible without the trio ;)
Also would love to see a hero version, I wonder what Quincey’s would be 🤔
The almighty yellow bloon.
@@end4567 Are you kidding me? Nothing gets past his bow.
Hi my name is Quincy and I am stupid and suck at this game
XXXL Trap + superstorm is a spicy farming strategy :)
4:08 ah yes, moust
Damn I didn’t think I was going to watch all of it but I couldn’t stop :P
That's what we like to hear!
I mean, MOAB Elim, First Strike and Spike Storm are all towers with an activated ability which specializes at MOAB damage, so I can see the comparison being made
yeah I could see where that comes from, but it’s a shame that so many people ignore its main attack which is what sets it apart

5:40 ahh yes anythign lol
The perma charge's weakness is that it has no weakness. Jack of all trades, master of none.
Exactly
It kinda falls off lategame and needs buffs to keep up with round 90 - 100. On its own it isn't that great
Also which 5th tier bomb shooter is the best again?
Great question... idk. Depends on the game mode I suppose
@@Hbomb ok then which one is the best on c.h.i.m.p.s mode then?
About the shower thoughts:
Yes I do
Let's goooo
Love these videos! Keep up the content Hbomb!
Thanks, will do!
Yes, but a lot of towers can't see camo and you're usually going to get a camo village but I guess in certain situations that's not possible
Those are good points, especially since it needs camo for DDTs
Looking back now with the bloon solver being massively buffed, the bit showing what it did to bloons is crazy, since now it could absolutely destroy all those ceramics in less then a second

@@Hbomb #showerthoughts how does ultra juggernaut not bounce off those fences in haunted?
Blooncineration's weakness is the same as middle path Heli. It's a support tower until tier 5 so it needs the right towers to make up for its mediocre damage.
glue gunner hnghbgnght 🥵🥵🥵🥰🥰🥰
I lied about the glue gunner. It is the best tower with no weaknesses

Lol
Hi Hbomb
the only real weakness of vfsg is having no camo detection
Just make it a 5-0-2 for that ultra vision ;)
Yea it doesn't cost almost 1m and is only decent in lategame and boss events
I really like that you did this, it will switch up my playstyles in chimps now
No problem!
8:05 i understand, Chimps is the funniest thing in the game, but "Doen'st works at Chimps" in'st a real Weakness.
very nice and informative! I don't wanna sound like a bot but keep up the good work! (also your voice is satisfying idk why)
Yo Hbomb kinda good looking
I see the effort you put into this. Really good video :)
Yep , “they” flying fortress at 4:27
I love the way he mentions super brittle's price but not Moab domination's price
Perfect Commentary + I like your SteelSeries Arctic Pro Wireless Headphones
* Some towers that normally give bonus income could be buffed in other ways for CHIMPS exclusively.
...
Yes, they did do a good job. And I'm all for boss balancing

A long video from my boy? That’s rare but appreciated 👍🏽
You know it! The rare long one
2:45 ah yes, I love cripling moabs
It is a good time
I'm very confused by the very first clip, when I have an ultra Jugg it absolutely tears through every ceramic in sight, even if they're bunched up
Super mines is op as hell destroying 8 f bads without struggle
a strat for chimps on balance: just get 2 villages and a 4 or 5-2-0 alch and a bottom 2-0-5 tack shooter in the middle and boom you can beat most rounds easily but ya might wanna get monkey pirates or pirate lord in the body of water closest to the tack shooter
I’ve never known that the bottom path dartling gunner was also classified as a mortar monkey XD

8:45 ah yes my favourite t5, call to arms.
Lol. I've only used it in freeplay and Bosses
@@Hbomb I mean its Homeland Defense
5:45 Ah yes, the bloon exclusion zone is my favourite mortar t5
8:24 also spike storm neuters bloon economy boosting setups (ie rubber to gold alch + traps) to a standstill, while being super useful vs lych it can fuck you over if you over rely on it (if only you could turn off its automatic spike storm ability)
you have to make a video for every crosspath now lmao
Moab eliminator's main weaknesses weren't adressed, because it does what it is supposed to do well, but you see. the moab eliminator struggles with super ceramic rushes. It has no overall buffs aside from the first 2 upgrades of each of the paths you choose for your bomb shooter.
Fun fact: Bomb blitz is equal to 4-5 recursive clusters cuz of its dmg and it does crazy clusters in every shot instead of every 2 shots
*bomb blitz may not be an option*
Ezili: *I have a ability did you forget?*
Chimps: *yea we forgot*
Him: *Every tower has a weakness.*
Also him 50 seconds later: *Perma charge doesn’t have a weakness*
the weakness is that it doesn't have a specific strength, it's just an all-around good tower
Hbomb: eliminator is outclassed by spike storm and first strike.
also hbomb:doesnt mention the short ability cool down
This video was great I would love to see a similar video to this about all the heros
Catagories for for each t5 tower and the example for each:
1. Overpriced (True/Vengful Sun God)
2. Outclassed/Unreliable (Super Glue)
3. Has its own Upsides and downsides (M.A.D kills MOAB class Bloons, but sucks against normal bloons)
4. Chimps and Impoppable limits their full potential (Elite Defender and Bomb Blitz need to lose a life for their abilities to work or anything that's soul purpose is for cash)
5. Relies on other towers TO buff/assist (Permabrew/Villages)
6. Relies on other towers FOR buffs/debuffs (Grandmaster/Avatar of Wrath)
I love how you say chimps rounds like everyone does chimps only
