Supertech Electronics is an Australian owned and operated electronic repair shop that specializes in the repair of audiovisual equipment. About 80% of our repairs are factory car stereo systems. The business evolved in 1992 when we noticed a lack of service and support for factory car audio systems.

This is the best video I have seen on this process. Thank you for sharing how to get the ICC unit out without wrecking the dash!
Thank you so much for your guide, This is clear and helpful.
Any idea how to just replace one of those air vents? The little paddles have all fallen inwards.
I'm after this info too Flashbax. Did you get any answers? TIA
@@jeffparkes01 no luck yet. Too small of a job for many parts ppl. Will just leave it as is I think
@@Flashbax Ha! My friend's vent collapsed when he tried to fit a phone holder. One little bit was lost to the depths! :( I took the job on and, rather than pulling the whole console out, I made a new part from aluminium. Works a treat. Reinstalling from the front isn't that hard if you look carefully at how it works. Happy to help if I can :)
I have a basic sz. Can I put the titanium icc in and have it work ??
No. These are feature programmed and security locked to each vehicle.
Thanks, clear and consise.
Excellent
Awesome work, very helpful thanks
Can I change out the aircon vents like this too
Hi do you know if it is possible to fit a later sz territory Ford sync unit in replacement of the early icc 2011 sz unit ? Cheers
Wow that sounds like a nightmare. Sorry we cant help. We repair them. We do not offer upgrades. Good luck!
If I am replacing a broken one with a new unit in a tx, do I need to code the new one to my car?
Yes these units are locked to the VIN of the car. Plus coding of another unit may be different to what your car has.
