I love that actress because every time I feel that “all you can see is what you’re *afraid of*!” In my bones. Like the slightly manic edge, the way the words start to rise in volume until she snatched them back down with a growl of pained disbelief at the sister’s actions. Glorious acting!
Call the Midwife, season 10, episode 7. The younger sister is unable to get pregnant. When the older sister, Sylvia, gets pregnant after raising her children, she offers the new baby to her younger sister. All is well until the doctor tells them that the baby has Down's Syndrome. The younger sister no longer wants the baby. Sylvia loves her new son, and she and her husband take him home to raise.
My aunt was born with Down's syndrome in the early 60s. Grandma was urged to put her away quietly, but she wouldn't. Mom says they found out about family members they never knew about because they'd been put away. Grandpa had a hard time with it; barely acknowledged Kim for a while because he was afraid they'd lose her. Kim has had a good life, though. She just turned 62.
She doesn't deserve a baby and obviously God knew that and i don't mean that to be harsh and thats not always the case, but this makes me so angry. This was such a nice thing for her sister to do for her but her sister deserves the baby, they are going to be great parents. I hope they don't end up changing their minds because they don't deserve that beautiful baby

Oh my gosh
That baby got blessed with the very best of mothers
Agreed 😊
Rather like the judgement of King Solomon. The birth mother proves herself a true mother by focusing on what’s best for the baby.
You’re right

I agree 🥹
My mother kept the baby. It destroyed my family. It's not always a Disney ending.
Oh 🥹
What was wrong with the little one?
He was born with downs syndrome. But he's very beautiful 😍
