- Devastation of Rotterdam is my favourite map in Battlefield V. It is so much fun and has everything i wanted to see with an infantry focused map. EA were kind enough to fly me out to Stockholm to try out Battlefield 5 and I'm so glad they did. I loved every minute of playing BF5 and it has really improved since the alpha.

I love how some people absolutely love devastation and Rotterdam while others love Hamada, Aerodrome, Twisted Steel and Arras. Shows that most of the maps are really great.

Same here. I’m not on EA’s payroll to be saying that I’m hyped AF. Sure maybe the launch might be like BF4’s, but this game will definitely get better.

Rotterdam looks like a fusion between Amiens, Prise De Tahure, and Tsaristyn. Waiting for the release.

Its possible, is it not? Even in real life, how heavy is it a single dynamite can be. Im no pro about explosive.

On Rotterdam (the one thats not destroyed) their are German soldiers and British soldiers fighting each other. But their were no British soldiers when the city wasnt destroyed. EA says that WE arent educated, but they arent either!

Did they change the dark tint on the sights? The beta was tough to spot targets due to how dark the glass was in the sight.
I have seen a few clips where this was much better
Yea they removed most of the tint, no real downside to using a sight over iron sights now

Movement speed feels a bit too fast for me right now. The unlimited sprint looks a bit ridiculous if you can imaging the combat load weight of the average infantryman at the time (nearly 70 lbs/31 Kgs!).
I think .75 play speed looks more believable.

Spoiler: This will play simmilar to Pearl Market Conquest on BF4 someone will find a way to get on top of the buildings most likely a glitch and then shoot everyone from above or with so many camp spots on the map someone will find one way spots like on the maps Metro and Operation Locker.

I don't understand how anyone see's anything in this game, there's so much visual clutter it's insane.
It's like that on most battlefields, thats why you customize your Ui

Tbh I didn't have problems on the beta maps
@@mre1995 You need to adapt. At first it was really difficult for me too but now my eyes can detect unusual movement.
@@SkeDav The movement's fine, it's the visuals. There's far too much on screen at once and the lighting is just terrible, it's either far too dark or far too bright, not to mention the fact that the character models are tiny and the same colour as the environment. There's no amount of adapting i can do to fix that.

A BF game without maps specifically for vehicle warfare is not a BF game. BF5 looks very infantry based like BF1. Ill keep playing BF4 waiting on a more modern Battlefield..Oh well

The trouble is the “2.0” logic. By that logic, all franchises are bad since every entry is an iterative improvement rather than a complete re-imagining of the series (there are exceptions like Zelda BoTW though, but those exceptions are rare)

@@matc4742 BF5 is way closer to BF3 gameplay than it is to BF1. It has little in common with BF1 except the weapons and graphics.
BFV is FAR different from BF1. You have to be oblivious to gameplay in order to say they’re the same. Btw by that logic all franchises are bad since games in the same franchise share similar features.
