This new game has specialist and skins and shields that you plant no man I want what bf4 is to bf3 in the new game not all this extra shtt. Current bf4 is amazing. It's funny when BF4 launched people said the same thing and compared it with BF3. Now people praises BF4. Remember BF4 also started from a buggy mess and took months to get to where it is now. BF 2042 is only beta, give it time.
I my opinion still the better Battlefield as 2042.

They should defenetely return BF4 HUD instead of current one in BF2042. 3d spot return would be great too.

I hate 3d spotting. Fuck dorito hanging above everyones head. Just a ping on the last known location is all we need. Theres no skill in shooting icons thru smoke.
I also think that 3d spotting is not necessary. Because it’s decreasing the skill cap which is required to find targets. And if they would implement it anyway, than it shouldn’t stay visible through the smoke, over smaller objects, etc. Maybe there shouldn’t be any tag at all. Just player who got tagged could appear a bit brighter on the screen, but not too much.
I would remove flir and infra view from vehicles also.
@@founik 3d spot helps to avoid the visibility problem. But 3d spot must only work when you clearly see a foe or a vehicle and it must dissapear when you turn away.
It's funny how in the hype for 2042 everyone started playing 4 again and I'm gonna keep playing 4 until the new one is polished

To be fair, I only ever got 2 clips like that, total guess shots but what made that one special was the combination of the service star paired with the distant sound of your jet getting destroyed. You’ll get your GC clip on me I’m sure one day. GC is an inside joke between us here at Salt Pro Gaming (UA-cam channel, guess I didn’t put that in the email, sorry ART.)

Idk but the gunplay in 2042 just feels wrong for some reason idk why I hopped back onto bf4 and everything just seemed correct
They made it so fast paced that it's become call of duty ground war, it's not a battlefield game

If they make the recoil of the guns a bit higher, we have got the best infantry combat of the Series with BF2042. But they NEED to fix all the graphical bugs, lag and optimization issues. When I played BF4 I got mad when the Air vehicles lagged and ragdolled in the air randomly, but it was an occasional siruation, in BF2042, every single Aircraft keeps lagging and teleporting around, its real broken and will make getting clips like the ones in this video impossible. Because you cant predict that shit.
they should have brought back the BTF4 UI to battlefield 2042. battlefield 4 just feels so much cleaner and simpler. My camera be shaking all over the place in 2042 even with camera shake at 0
I can’t really get into the beta sadly it really needs polishing bad I know it’s a beta but I think a slight delay won’t hurt because at the state it’s in now people are going to be disappointed just for me I’m getting graphical errors where the screen goes black then comes back , bad fps drops , weapons not loading , invisible enemies so much more! But I hope everyone else is having fun playing it , overall I wished they went back to regular conquest mode and the traditional load out of bf3 & BF4 the map orbital is way to damn big also especially from a vertically standpoint it takes forever to find anyone
yea its bad. same here framedrops, random parachutes with no enemies, flying sitting characters, bad hitreg, no stepsounds
its really not fun

My first kill in BF2042 was taking out an airplane with the .50 Kinda proud of that one lol and I had a depressing miss with a vehicle...
I guess i'll stick up with this game till everythings figured out in BF 2042.
Time will tell, however, bf4 in my opinion is the best bf game of all time.

Try completely restarting your Xbox and try it again, same thing happened to me and it worked
Mine didn't work with an elite controller, I had to dig up my old day one 2013 controller to play. But then again I was only able to one match and the rest of my time was trying to connect, so 🤷

I miss the days, shooting games were a little dark.
Definitely not buying 2042 at launch after trying the beta. It's got a huge number of bugs, even for a beta. I hate the UI. Specialist system, cant stand it. They ruined the heli physics. The immersive quality of BF3 and 4 is gone. I feel like I'm playing as a bunch of mercenaries in some strange landscape not meant to be a battlefield. Reminds me of Ghost Recon Breakpoint in that regard. Not a fan of the plus system. I liked choosing a loadout and sticking to it. Alter your play style, not your loadout.
As we grow older, the developers are getting younger and younger at a point where they are just imbesiles now...
Battlefield was always a game between realiatic arma and bullshit child game call of duty. But now they want to make it more colorful, "fun", unrealistic, childish games.
Such a shame... What we wanted was to have iterations after Bad Company 2, BF3, BF4 not another call of duty.... FFS

@@cjellis4101 He posts all players. He gets so many submissions that he might be weeks behind the newest ones sent in. And there have been many, many clips of sniping pilots. At this point I think lucky random SMAWs across the map and countless rendezooks shouldn't even be included because they're so repetitive and all look the same. But Art needs to be inclusive of the community.

These are one in a million for you guys, but for us real gamers.. these are like 1 in 10.. just saying.. we do this every game..
lets be honest and quick about the BF beta. The game is a severe dissapointement. It felt more like an indie unfinished souless arcade free steam shooter than the supposed BF4 v2.0 Masterpiece experience. Canceled my ultimate edition pre-order and never touching again any BF title till the devs stop smoking crack.. and this comes from a BF veteran with 13.700h in BF4 and additional 10k h spread in the rest BF titles.
2042 looks like chinese version of actual battlefield.
The map feels way too empty and big, forcing this gameplay where everyone is just running around, sort of aimlessly, just SEARCHING for enemies on this giant map...so much like the gameplay of Warzone...just sprinting for 5 minutes saying "yeah there might be a guy in here"...just jumpy gameplay bc the enemies are so random...at no point did I feel like a was fighting for a choke point with my team, having a general idea of where the enemies are around an objective...none of that...it was just gross 1v1 quick random engagements like Warzone and I absolutely didn't enjoy it. I want more maps like operation locker or metro where we fight for chokepoints and enter a chaotic meat grinder, NOT BEING SOME BORING LONE SPECIALIST RUNNING UP 50 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS
Zavod small conquest with 64 players was one of the funnest rounds I had ever played. Space wise it's probably about as big as Locker but it's WAY more open so there aren't just two lanes of death. Never felt overcrowded. Meanwhile if the map Art showed in his 2042 vid really is a "mid-size" map, large maps are going to feel unplayable. Empty space is not engaging to players.

Wouldn't most people keep shooting the guy you initially aimed in at instead of the player you missed?, right? Who wouldnt call you out for that?. So many cheaters these days who try to get 10seconds of fame. You may not be a cheater that is fine, you may have gotten "lucky" with your flick and choose the target most would of fired at next. People get away with cheats under the radar for years m8. Watch the sus part of your clip on a slow playback speed.

Art has a big BF4 fanbase which expects him to continue to be feeded with content. Also, he seemed a bit frustrated about the beta state in the latest video. Thus he will be hoping for a better state when the main game launches. Especially in terms of vehicle gameplay, which I totally agree on...
