- As I mentioned in the original description, which YT (not do subtly) erased, this is the first piece where you can feel the variety of textures ELP tried for this album.
The song is an adaptation of Ginestra's 1st piano concerto, and Emerson took in Palmer's suggestion to have a massive drum solo inside of it. Palmer is using here eight drum synthesizers for the percussion part.
The band was:
Keith Emerson - keyboards, piano, synthesizers, ring modulated vocals
Greg Lake - acoustic, electric and bass guitars, lead vocals
Carl Palmer - drums, percussion, drum synthesizers
ELP was an acquired taste to some, but once u hear 3 masters at their craft -GAME OVER.
Sounds very interesting, I like it
you've never heard before? Try the ALBUM, "Brain Salad Surgery."
I always thought of ELP as world music: incorporating the best of the classic and contemporary
Lasted less than 1 min. I don't play well with noise which is all I hear.
If this is the best EL&P can do.........
