I just got one. It’s not fun to commute on for long distances. However I mainly use it to ride wheelies n be dumb. It’s perfect for that. However if u have patience. Gas mileage is insane.
Much respect from a Kawasaki Z125 Pro rider. It's always nice to pass another mini-moto. We share the same joys and struggles on the road that no one else understands. Stay safe out there, friend.
SUBBED/LIKED Because i WAS THINKING of getting my 1st GROM. Done the Bigger 1000s/600s Sports BUT now i;m 52 and got a Bad Back i NEED a smaller Bike. Been looking all over Ebay etc And other GROM Forums for Big-Bore-Kits/Body work/Bars etc so YOU my friend JUST sold a GROM from Someone in the UK as your Energy talking about Your GROM just sold it for me. Best wishes/SAFE-Riding Bud [South Wales UK].
All you need is a baffle, restrict the air a bit. A Yoshi exhaust is not going to perform better. It'll be the same as the one you have now. Unless you can find a way to reprogram or reflash the fuel injection, any open exhaust will run lean, and thus lose power.
The mod I do recommend you straight away, hands down first things you should do, DHM stage 1, preferable even stage 2. Full exhaust, keep the amazon muffler, but open mid pipe, ar intake chimera, or mnntbk, camshaft TB and reflash ECU. Wakes your bike the f up! And while u at it, clutch springs kit upgrade is highly recommended. I have my Grom since 2014, thats 10 years. I just recently did this Mod and I regret not doin this earlier. I do run a full Akrapovic system so yeah better than amazon muffler
I actually just bought a 2022 Grom ABS a few weeks ago that's blue and got aftermarket ProTaper bars, Black Widow exhaust, sprocket, Ricaro seat, fender delete, and they put a "Horn" that sounds like a cheap 90s car alarm sound (lol) for 3k. Has 3,500 miles on it, does like 55-60 and i love it.
I've put 22,000 miles on mine in 2 years. Still going strong with regular oil changes. (Plus I have my MT09) I'd take the Grom over a big bike any day. 😁👍🏻
I also have a 22 Candy Blue Grom . It's the abs model. I left mine stock no special exhuse or anything like that . I'm just changing up the looks . Also I might mention I'm mid 60s in age .
I have the same exhaust on my 24 grom and I noticed without the baffle in the exhaust it had no torque. But I put the baffle back in and it picked torque back up and it sounds just as good with the baffle in I think lol
Looking for an after market exhaust... Didnt even buy a Grom yet lol. Which aftermarket exhaust (slip on) is a good brand and for ROAD use? If it weighs less and sounds better that'll do.
For the money and performance especially if you get the Chimera intake and DHM reflash the Zoom loop header is a very good choice and leave the baffle in. I've tried it with and without baffle and it feels better with bafflie.
I just bought a used 2022 Honda Grom with 2300 miles for $2500 cash. Not a terrible deal and I’m pretty sure I can flip it for a profit when I want. Probably get $3000. But man this bike is so slowww. It’s fun but it’s so slow. I really want to sell it and buy something else. I think for me I’d like to get the new Duke 390 and after that a dirt bike and after that I’d like a Triumph cruiser. Idk why I’m saying all this but yeah the Grom is slow as hell. And it has an exhaust.
You care about power and you bought a grom? the stock exhaust is much heavier than the other. Which matters more? Stop talking about power on a 125 lmao
Also these after market exhaust are only making noise not more power. Here is the facts the EPA is coming after every manufacture of the non pollution compliant exhaust systems. Better keep the stock one when you have to put it back on.
Do you guys have a grom?! 😊 like and subscribe if you enjoyed!!

Right on! Thanks for watching
I got my 2020 used and have a little over 800 miles on it. Got it bone stock and now intake, exhaust, tune and a 14t front sprocket and it's a blast.

XR150l has the same shitty horn
Thanks for sharing! I had a SF Grom and thinking about getting the new one. I like the yellow
Yellow is growing on me. I’d prefer a black one tbh

Hell yeah that’s what I like to hear!! Thanks for tuning in 👍
Is it the camera or the yellow color make it loom like longer? 🥴

That’s awesome I hope im still riding a from when I’m 60 lol

Huh. I might look into getting a baffle in there for now then. Thanks!

I think the yoshi is your best bet

Right haha it’s pretty slow but can still be fun. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
Change the front sprockets to 14
Got it
The orange lights are turn signal blinkers they only come on when you turn them on to turn left or right 😂
Yes but on the front they are also running lights. They should be on all the time
get a van, build a motovan, get back to camping to explore new places
I seriously want to get a Moto van and do grom camping adventures. Thanks for reminding me lol
@@GromGeekzdo it!
My setup exactly, highly recommend 🤙
Should have bought a faster bike, right.
Totally need to always be going fast that way I get a lot more speeding tickets
Has anyone said to you that you look like Andy Dick
No .. thanks? 😊

Yeah the stock exhaust is heavier so it’s got that going for it.
