    Just found your inquisitor/shaman with concentration on exclusive censure and the seal. It was the easiest I've ever had it! I was actually not using Wend. totem because I forgot I had it! Have not gotten the second totem type (yet) and I have a couple high level leafmanes (too high to use yet) and I have not found Packler. I used to think I had to have over a thousand points in physique and 10s of thousands in DPS and carry either a two-handed or a shield, but I am carrying around a wand and a book (what a nerd)! lol And I only have like a thousand DPS, but I burn everything down! I run in and leap into the midst of the enemies and have actually had a few close calls with not being able to turn on seal and w. totem immediately. lol
    Thanks so much for your hard work!

    I just had to come here and comment this! I just hit the leafmane trophy jackpot.
    At least, I think I did.
    Demonic leafmane trophy of Decay
    +232% Vitality Damage
    +78% Chaos Damage
    +225 Vitality Decay
    48% Elemental Damage converted to Vitality Damage
    +5% Offensive Ability
    +12% Casting Speed
    +17% Skill Cooldown Reduction
    And something useless, +2 to Sigil of Consumption
    The rest of the stats are base stats I think.
    I farmed this shit for way too long, and I finally feel like it paid off

    I'm wondering what would happen if you ran this with occultist with the modifier on bloody pox that is usually only used for retal builds? I had a build that I really enjoyed with that modifier but after normal the damage drops off extremely hard, so maybe this is the answer to the damage drop off.

      Yeah, once the basic "one-skill Inquisitor" is set up, there are loads of vitality damage options comboing with other masteries. As a long-time fan of Bloody Pox, I'd give that a thumbs-up without even trying it.

    no accusation or finger point...just pure curiosity. How did you get a level 20 Leafmane Trophy?
    TL;DR version I get you had another character get it...but what was that build. How'd you get to Ugdenbog(sp?) at such a low level or get it to drop at such a low level? Presume (rightly so) I know nothing about this game even though I have all the DLC lol. Sorry for all the hand holding request...but this build looks like fun to me.
    Truth is I bought the game back in the day but just got burned out on shitty builds and then looking to the internet for better build but all of them (back then) required 3 set pieces of this and two set of that etc. and I burned out again. I always planed to come back to the game before now'ish and so bought the DLC as they came out but really haven't played with much of them.
    Thank you very much in advance.

    • @Arcadelife1
      @Arcadelife1  Рік тому +1

      You can’t get it from Ugdenbog at low level. You either have to run Shattered Realm on a low-level character until a level 20 version drops, or do what I did - get lucky ages ago when a low-level Leafmane enemy spawned from the totem in the house cellar just near the Burrwitch Village rift. Otherwise no, you can’t get one. I’ve been asked this in several comments already and I always apologise because using the level 20 item is misleading. Sorry.

      Thanks for the comment. Someone else asked this and the answer is I (long ago) farmed a totem in a cellar near Burrwitch Village on a character that was lower than level 20. The totem occasionally spawns leafmane enemies. It was a massive grind and I wouldn’t recommend doing it. If you play through the game ‘normally’ without merits, the leafmane trophies in Ugdenbog will be in the right level range, but you won’t get a level 20 item there. As with the other guy who asked the same question, I’m really sorry you wasted time trying to get the lower level item and I should have mentioned it in the video but I had the item in stash and started using it without thinking, until the first person asked how I got it.

      @@mariobraghieri9249 The basic skill Wendigo Totem deals vitality damage and vitality decay (the damage over time version of vitality damage). The Blood Pact node of the skill buffs attacks that deal vitality damage (including the totem itself) and attacks that deal bleeding damage. It does not add any flat bleeding damage, it just increases (percentage) the damage done by any attacks you use that deal bleeding damage.
      Wendigo Totem (without any damage conversion from gear) does not directly synergise with lightning attacks. Many masteries have skills that deal different damage types and do not directly synergise with each other. Example - Necro has aether, cold and vitality damage skills, and pets. Nightblade has cold, piercing and acid damage.
      Don’t assume that just because a mastery has a number of skills that all these skills work together by default.

    Don't forget the seal is also giving you flat damage reduction, which is amazing on top of all the leech. This is a build I'd consider using haunt even though you're not playing arcanist or doing any of their abilities because it offers lowers enemy life leech resistance.
    But the playstyle kind of makes me want to do it with occultist instead of shaman to do sigil an seal on top of each other, one with bat and the other with windago lol. Have WoP and curse of weakness just for rr and possession plus seal dr and all that life leech would be nasty.

You must have some of the luckiest RNG going, after about 90 minutes of trying i still hadn't got one to drop. I also noticed that the monsters (and therefore the things they did drop) were all like Level 32 or higher, upto level 40 i think. So, my question is: how and where on earth did you get that Level 20 Leafmane? I did check the Blacksmith, to see if it was Craftable, but if there is a Blueprint for one, i don't have it. Ok you get the bonus prize because I was wondering if anyone would get stuck trying to get the level 20 item in Ugdenbog. The thing is, well, I had to farm the totem that spawns in mountain deeps (on a character around level 11-15) to get the random leafmane enemy from that totem to be a low enough level to drop the level 20 item. I didn’t even do this recently, I’ve had the item in storage ever since because I knew it would be useful. All I can do is apologise - I didn’t even think this would be an issue because most players (definitely new players) would be a high enough level in Ugdenbog that the level 35 item would be fine. I’m sorry if you wasted time on this, makes me feel like a proper dick to be honest, even though it wasn’t deliberate ‘lying’ - sorry!

    I wonder if using the (admittedly high level) items that can convert the vitality (from wendigo) into Fire will let you use the various synergies that will reduce enemy fire resist, eg: from Demolitionist.
    Guess it's between converting (others) into vitality and boosting vitality, or converting the vitality into something like fire and boosting the fire normally. There's a nice pistol that does vitality->fire conversion, gives bonuses to fire damage and of course you can dual-wield them

    • @Arcadelife1
      @Arcadelife1  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, that would work. There are some basic ‘rules’ around damage conversion that should make this easy to understand:
      1 - damage can only be converted once. Example - if a percentage of vitality damage is converted to fire damage, that fire damage cannot be subsequently converted to anything else.
      2 - buffs to a damage type (buffs from other skills, from gear, from devotions) are applied AFTER all conversions have been applied. So if you convert vitality to fire, the fire damage will be affected by buffs, not the original vitality damage value.
