"Tiger 131 was the first example of the fearsome new German invention to be captured by the allies who seized it during fierce fighting in the Tunisian desert in 1943. A lucky shot had wedged itself in the turret mechanism so it couldn't turn and the crew had bailed out and ran. Captured by the British 48th Royal Tank Regiment". Yes this was a copy paste.
I would agree Tiger 131 (and the Japanese one) should get pref MM as it is not overpowered, no huge profit, many different tigers in the game so one should get it imho.
That lucky Churchill gunner who jammed the turret with 1 shot and this created such a beautiful history
Doesn't the tiger line gonna receive buff soon.
The turret armor gonna be buffed and the alpha gonna be (as far as i remember) 280.
In my logic tiger 131 is same like tiger 1 so it's gonna get the buff too.

Funny that you are playing that tank! I actually love it, i have improved gun rammer on it and the dpm seems great for it’s tier. The armor can also actually be usable.

On ru server it went for something like 700k credits or a mission. On NA its kill a German tank in 30 different battles mission. While sitting in one of the chosen 5 tanks. Like t3485

They crew abandoned it in north Africa. They got out because the turret jammed. A Churchill shot the gun mantlet and the shell ricochet down into the turret ring and jammed. The damage has been modelled on the skin. Anyway hope u are well mate.

Hi Skill... from what I can gather Tiger 131 had its turret ring damaged by a Churchill tank in Tunisia and this caused the crew to abandon the tank... this is what they possibly think happened

It sold out because it comes with a BiA-crew for only 15€. If you already have the tank, you get the worth in gold (i.e. 3900gold = 14.99€) and the free BiA crew on top of it. So some people just bought it a couple of times for some extra crews.
I think it sold out mostly because WG didn’t get to keep any of the money for themselves.
i like it (tiger was a reason i played wot to start with) , can work well depends on mm . also skill have you developed a mean streak ? "Hi there , having a good time?" boom T34-85m . 😁
I have this tank since it first came out and never regretted the purchase. It's not easy straight forward to play like a T-150, but for the casual player it is way easier to manage then the tech-tree Tiger. If you know to make armor work, on this tank you can make it work. Hull-down (1 deg more gun depression than grind Tiger), sidescrape, just angling, it all can work in suitable situations. Particularly the spaced armor on the turret is a tough nut even for T6 TDs if you can manage to have just the minimum peak over a ridge. The side armor is substantially better than on the VK36, which helps sidescraping a lot, just be careful with the wider front silhouette.

Since you pointed at the hole in the rear, if I recall right they said what disabled the tank was the turret got jammed from a 6lber so the crew abandoned it. It was recovered in mostly working order.
I am this tank owner for one year maybe two, i have already played 350 battles with it. I like this tank a lot.

Tiger 131 should have been a permanent addition to the shop. Sure it'd quickly garner a reputation as a noob trap, but at least everyone who buys one is supporting the Bovington Tank Museum and helping them ensure the real one keeps on running.

I chose it in the recruitment program and its quite banana out of ten tank
the good thing about this thank, believe it or not, is the gun loading, 240 alpha once every 5 seconds is good and i tell you this having played churchill VII for a while, wich is a tank with 140 alpha with almost 5 seconds, same penetration, worse gun stats, less gun depression, and it is even an slower tank, so, this tank looks fine for being a premium tank.
Oh and I absolutely love it, such a nice version of a tiger 1 , I also have their tech tree tiger 1 , and a hammer as well as tiger 217

agree totally... or move the Tiger 1 down to T6 in the tech tree... Tiger 2 would then be T7... this makes sense to me
@@dvt73dot19 Yes, I totally agree!! That would make total sense! That would be awesome! Normal T6 Tiger 1 with the long 88mm but Tiger 131 prem with short 88mm as it has now but it has premium matchmaking so it never meets T8

Yes it did, Tiger 131 was disabled by a Churchill tank that fired a 6 pounder right in its turret ring, Tiger was not destroyed just disabled.....Crew then ran for their life but were most likely killed while under fire while trying to escape...More likely the Tiger was more damaged because of the heavy fire in was under, bullet dents from machine gun aswell as Anti Tank guns....But was it penetrated? Maybe, I do not know, most likely not....Idk
Actually 131 was still able to operate except the turret mechanism. Crew panicked and abandoned vehicle... Otherwise they would destroy it. There was a tiger that was hit 252 times with various calibers and still got away 60km to it's unit. Tiger was magnificent vehicle :)

Is it just me or is 3 artas per game so much more common now than it was before? I played yesterday and day before, 4 out of 5 games were 3 artas....They NEED to change that to 1 arta per team max....

A lot of arty players have gravitated to tiers 5/6/7 especially M44 since it makes credits pretty easily and they are OP for their tiers.
On NA you get the tank skin with flag for a mission - "Vasily Storozhenko Mission" for destroying 30 german tanks in the Tier 4 - 6 russian mediums. That mission ends shortly.
I love this tank and i play it more than the the tier 7 Tiger, it's the first tank i ever got ace mastery on and it's the second tank that i got an MoE on and i agree that it should have pref. matchmaking but that will never happen.
I don't mind this tiger but it doesn't take arty hits very well. It does good other than that. Great content always! Please keep it coming.
in ww2 tiger, one shot m4 (sherman) tank (Not all the time tho). in wot m4 had about 600 hp. So u know the rest.... Buff the alpha

For free to play players vk 45 01 P is very similar to this tank. I guess both have same gun and a good turret
Growing up the only tank I really saw was the M3 Stuart down the road from me. Other than that I don't really see tanks in real life. Until I realized I live right down the road from a M41 BullDog with in the game is a tiny widdle light tank... in real life is about as wide is two 18 wheelers, and as tall as an F350 with a 3ft lift kit... HUGE lets put it like that. and the tiny widdle 90mm gun, also F***KING massive.

Tiger 131 is very competitive tank, also good in credit farming as long as you make a little effort in gameplay! Worth buying. 💯👍
I got this tank from the referal program. 1st battle I played with this tank is still my best experiance in a game. I have played the tank less than 30 battles. Its not really an exciting tank to play imo.

I´ve tried Tiger I ,didn´t like it. I´m still grinding towards Tiger 131. I love my Tiger (P) tho, 54%win rate with it, but still didn´t marked it ( currently 67%). I think a lot of people is playing him in wrong way (rushing on the heavy line,plaing too close to their enemy, can work only if it´s a top tier). As a sniper schnitzel and support vehicle,it´s really good.

This "bounty-equipment" topic came up many times now, so it took my interest, too: does Mr. Skill have only '1 set' from them or he mounted all tanks with different pieces? (Im guessing the 1st option...)
I would guess yes since it is only credits to unmount them and not bonds.
Skill you should rename lower tier matches videos as “Skill is super Unicum clubbing baby seals who cry in the corner”. The way most of the enemy tanks come out of corners says a lot haha.
The 131 isn't so bad. Not great, not bad. I think it's worth it to buy because it comes with a BIA crew. If you want a German BIA crew, get a 131, throw a few crew books at them, and drop them in whatever tank you want. If you own a Lowe, it makes blowing up the crew that much easier.
If you own a löwe, why not use the 100% crew it came with and boost that crew with crew books instead?
@@squishy_princess Because a BIA crew has the Brothers In Arms perk built in at skill 0. A Lowe comes with a regular crew. At first the savings is just 240k xp for the first skill. But every skill costs 1 level less, so by the time you're 4 or 5 skills in, you're literally millions of xp's ahead of a regular crew.

I realize that the reason you are showing us game play with the tiger 131 is because of the donation to the tank museum. I still appreciate it. I have this tank and do not like it. It's very hard to do well with this tank. I have never seen anyone do as well with it as you have. I will look forward to seeing you play it in other video's. Let's be honest. For an average to below average player-this tank sucks. In your hands its not so bad. Anyone who can do well with this tier 6 shitter has to know what they are doing.

I loved this tank i have currently the most battles in it on the eu server. My name on eu server is tom_cruise_film. I have 4 k battles in it. Nice dpm, nice accuracy, nice spotting, hp is nice. I love it!
I don’t know. I know there are tanks nobody can figure out why they’re in the game except for WG to farm credits from the grind (Churchill 7) but players skills as well as how many skill levels deep the crew is trained has a lot to do with winning more - not so much the tank.
