- Today we’re adding some MF’n style to the scooter!TFC’s titanium drive face fan and Ban Jing’s titanium clutch bell! We also replaced the stock rollers with some 10g sliders and wired up a new license plate light! The pulleys and ankle biter kit probably took about 15 mins! Super easy and looks great! Check it out! What dr pulley sliders you using

Mine bike vibrates so bad but if going slightly down hill it's just as smooth as sillk. So I hoping the CVT super trans as they call it makes it stop vibrating so bad. Pls pls pls

I mounted my plate on the tab that the rear light is mounted to .I just raised the light up some. Drilled holes. Waiting on the CVT kit to come in . Paid 180 from Cajun maddog. Hoping it just runs smoother an maybe quicker takeoff. More speed not as important

What's good homie? I recently got the same maddog. Color and everything. I like this video. Got me thinking king I might be able to do this upgrade myself. Thx for showing all the steps to the job. I've done small things on cars but never worked on a scooter. Would love to be able to pick your brain on this. Do you have a email I can reach out to you on? I'm from Pennsylvania. Tryna find places now that I can get some work done as I get ready to make upgrades to mine
I would take a MAP torch to the stock hardware and discolor them to make them look like titanium as well. Just a thought.

Yeah it wobbles in the video but you don’t feel it at all when riding. Imma get a whole new set.
i also see some wheel shimmy in the rear hub.. maybe see whats causing that

That backing plate takes the place of a case brace? Does it work just as well as a case brace?
To my understanding, yes, It works similar to a case brace. It’s adds strength back into the case so it won’t flex as much when you ride. I’ve heard people breaking the case rising without the original cover or a backing plate.
@@Aldama5523 for sure, that case will snap right in half. I was mainly curious about the backing plate. I noticed it doesn't wrap around the engine like the case brace does

I don’t know I heard that though Dr. police is just the same as the other rollers they burn down just as fast and they’re just a little bit more money so they’re a waste of money I seen lots of videos and I kind of think so myself I believe you get really quality high performance roller weights and get dr. poIlys it’s pretty much the same

Dude the 2 bolts are super hard to get off. How did u take them off so easily? My drill didn't do it
Right tools for the job man. There’s a difference between a drill and an impact. Then there’s different size impacts. I used a 1/2” snap-on impact from my buddy and I bought a 1/2” impact from Mac Tools since then. Both are some of the strongest impacts on the market! 👍🏽

@@itsflaves sorry I read it wrong. It will not. You probably have a 139QMB engine. The 150cc I have is a 157QMJ engine code. Your engine code will be stamped on the side of the engine and use that code to make sure you’re buying the right parts that fit.

@@itsflaves first verify which engine you have. Then learn the names of the parts you want to change out. The front pulley is called a drive face behind that is called a variator. And the second pulley towards the rear is called a Clutch bell. Some companies sell these as a kit.(drive face/clutch bell kit) And brace that surrounds both pulleys is called an ankle biter kit. Check out websites like ncystore.com or rollingwrenchdenver.com. Hope that helps. I do include links to all my parts I buy in the descriptions of all my videos.

How much the standard rollers weight?
Stock rollers weighed 14g. The new sliders are 10g weights. It revs higher now, Gain 3 mph on the top end but it noticeably lost low end torque. Might switch it back cause the torque feel was nice. It seems slower now.
Sliders can act like they're a little lighter so start out with maybe a gram less than what your original rollers were and see how that goes
So if original was 14 g rollers I'd try like 13 g sliders, you got to find that happy medium you go too light and you'll be too much RPMs, too heavy and it'll feel doggy boggy, it's trial and error
Did you remove the kick start prior to this? Or was it never there..
Yes. I removed it when I unboxed it. It was strapped down for shipping and I had to remove it the kick start for the unboxing and don’t bother to put it back cause electric start and already had ideas for the ankle biter kit.
Oh I see, I didnt know if they even have it. Mines OTW! Like what you did, keep the content comin! There isnt enough out there with these new Gen V's

No, don’t believe so. But rolling wrench and/or ncy store offer them for the 50cc

It’s the stock filter inside the stock intake. You just have to take it apart and throw away the parts you don’t need :)

Not at all. There isn’t any support in general and you are removing weight by taking off the can so no, it doesn’t need extra support. There should be rivets around the can, just drill them out and keep the cone filter inside the can. Just disassemble and then reassemble.
Looked like your front folks are on backwards
Not at all, this is how it came. But I’ve seen other videos and they come both ways?? It’s best like this because there’s less tension on the brake line/speed sensor and it also looks better having the right side “clean” because there’s nothing on the rear wheel either. It just looks cleaner. 500 miles and no issues.
@@Aldama5523 mine came that way too. But if you look at the photo when you buy it,it comes on backwards. You're tire ends up rubbing.

Any update how’d the difference feel
I lost some low end torque(butt dyno) but I gained an extra 2-3 mph on the top speed. I also weigh 210lbs. I would like to but an assortment rollers kit and figure out what works for me

yeah, so much out of round when it spins, causing huge vibrations. I defenetly would look after that.
What air filter is that?
Everything is stock. I took off the metal covering the cone filter inside the stock air filter housing.

Did you gut the pipe and flip it or just remove the housing? Also, are those the stock tires? If so, how much air did you put in it.
Just removed the housing. You should be good between 35-40 psi.

Yeah man, 150cc gy6. And it came with the bike. It was inside a metal can. I drilled out the rivets and took it apart and re-installed with the filter by itself.
@@Aldama5523 so is the wiring and connections the same as the ruckus or just writing for the gy6 the same cuz I know rolling wrench sells good electrical stuff I’m not familiar if the wiring the same if you swap the ruckus
Not sure how much of it is the same but yes. Rolling wrench makes their products to fit both the ruckus and maddogs. Unless they say otherwise. I bought their vacuum fuel pump delete kit. Video coming soon.

Because It looks awesome even when it spins! And the fan pulley sounds like it makes turbo noises
It doesn't hurt anything being open. Many of them are done this way.
Wheel looks out of balance
Yeah, full on bent or something. Need to get a new set. No problems riding at all but you can see it’s an issue.

Yea the stock gen v wheels suck and are really out of balance. I swapped out to 12 inch wheels and got a real tire for the rear. Insane difference.
