Blue kryptonite was introduced in SMALLVILLE from Lara giving Clark the ring. Possibly, it may have been what made Kara’s crystal, seen even before “Blue”. (All in Season 7). It was shown with Dax-Ur in a later episode.
Great video! Here are some answers to your questions about Kryptonite. The color of the kryptonite depends on additional element(s) added to basic (green) kryptonite. Green kryptonite is the purest kryptonite bc it is actually the pieces of the planet Krypton that have been irradiated by the Earth’s atmosphere. The other kryptonites are created by additional elements introduced to the also irradiated green kryptonite. Some are natural occurring (Red, Gold and Blue) or synthetic. Hope this helps. 😊
@@ThatFantasyChickAlso, when you watch Onyx (the Season 4 episode with the two Alex Luthors) you can see that intense, extreme heat causes green kryptonite to turn into black kryptonite. Black kryptonite was introduced in Superman III, and myself and many SMALLVILLE fans think that introducing black kryptonite as a kryptonite that splits Kryptonians into two entities was a bow to Richard Pryor’ as character, Gus Gorman, creating a blackish kryptonite from tar and other elements in Superman III.
I think that Kryptonit in each form has effects on Clark, because he has only power on earth under the yellow sun. The effects of Kryptonit was studied by Dax-Ur only on earth, because minerals on Krypton haven’t any effects.
Kryptonite was used way too much on Smallville. It got to the point where every time I would watch an episode I would think to myself Gee when are they gonna introduce kryptonite to this and sure enough ninety nine percent of the time they would.
The blue Kyptonite gives Kryptonians their powers under a red sun but takes their powers away under the yellow sun. The green kryptonight doesn't do anything to them under a red sun 'cause their entire planet was made out of green kryptonite crystals. The green kryptnight turns radioactive under the yellow sun. That's why it can kill Superman under the yellow sun. I don't know for sure, but I'm thinking. Gold kryptonite would give him his powers back forever under the red sun. I don't know what red, black, or silver. kryptonite would do under red sun, though.

So silver would be synthetic since it came from Brainiac’s ship! This helps a lot and it makes a lot of sense. Thanks!

@andrewm6424 Wow, I don’t remember that! But it’s been years since I’ve seen Superman III.
kryptonite is made out of his planet

Thank you so much! Because I was really curious about the difference between what would happen on Krypton vs how he reacts to them on Earth. ☺️
