Bob Carvers were mentioned 138 times in this video and Pattie Chips & Mushy Peas = 72 times plus "Bob Carvers been at the Fair for 136 years" = 34 times, and we now know what patties are made of in our sleep...But, I say But (Twice) did you know that Elvis Presley had a Jet Plane on standby at Leeds Bradford Airport at every Ull fair time to have his Bob Carvers Pattie, Mushy Peas an' Chips specially flown out to him while appearing in Las Vegas from Ull Fair every year? In fact one year he was so exited to get his grub...he tripped and fell onto his Mushy Peas...and that night his audience thought the green splodges on his Elvis Suit were his new suit design idea...yes indeedee!
Looking forward to going tomorrow for my yearly dose of Bob Carvers. Traditionally, Bob uses a mix of vegetable oils and peanut oil I believe, so giving that Carvers taste, a lot healthier than most chip shops that use animal fat. A lot less saturated fat at least! And tastier IMO 🤔😎👍😋
@@TheDandylion5 sadly yes, I go in the afternoon as there are fewer people. I have to use a walking stick and I am a little slow when getting around. At 66 I still enjoy the sights and sounds, and smells of the fair.
The Hull Patties looked nice but im not a lover of the mushy peas maybe thats a northern thing , im more used to eating fish & chips , pie n mash here in London but good to see your review im sure you both really enjoyed it Andy 👍
@chris-pike I never used to like mushy peas but I LOVE chip shop chips with mushy peas now 😋.... don't eat mushy peas with any other food other than chip shop food 😆
