    The SOG Spirit Knife is one of the most unique products. Not only can it be used as a knife, but it can also be attached to a broom handle, paint stick, branch, etc., and be used as a spear. It's certainly a versatile tool, but will it succeed or fail at one or both?

    Well done review for this SOG Spirit Knife. Good use of the phone book for demonstration.

    nice review. I personally would not use it as a spear because if it got stuck in 'something' and tha get's away, you're stuck with the handle. NIce knive

      Thanks. That's definitely a possibility unless you use a threaded pole. Then it will lock up solid. Glad you liked the review.

    What is the best way to keep this knife sharpened?

    Thx for vids. Pls be careful when stabbing with knives that don't have proper hand-guards. Personally seen two people stab something that stopped blade and hands have slid up blades causing severe injuries.

    Is it sharp on both sides or just a portion sharp on one side?

    • @DstEduNet
      @DstEduNet  10 років тому

      The model in the video that is bought in retail stores is sharp on one side, with the other side only be 1" sharp. The model carried online is fully sharpened on both sides.

    Are there different ways to attach this knife to make it into a spear? What is the best way so it wouldn't come off?

    • @DstEduNet
      @DstEduNet  10 років тому

      The inside of the tip is threaded for broomsticks and paint handles. For non-threaded objects like sticks, poles, etc., the head base has a set screw to hold it in place.

    Where can I get this knife?

    • @DstEduNet
      @DstEduNet  10 років тому

      I'd get it from Amazon. The model they carry has both sides sharpened.

      I heard about this a little while ago on Jim Nowka's podcast. Apparently hollow handle survival knives have been making a slight resurgence in the "high-end" (more expensive than most survival rifles) market. Speaking of pole-arms, are you familiar with the ARMA's fightbooks?

    Hey destroyer, been awhile. I'm looking to make my own dummy display firearm, more as proof of concepts and visuals. Have any ideas as to what exactly I could use to accurately make fully custom dummies?

      Asura Gaming Hey man, it's good to see you still on here. I'm not very familiar with that sort of thing. If I had to guess, your best way of doing that would be to design some schematics that would allow you to print them using a 3D printer.

      Alright, I'll give that a shot. Was wanting to make sure there wasn't a secret shop or something ya know? Haha, anyway, stay safe man, and keep rocking.
