Amigo, the context of Taino music on this page is not ritualistic or evocations of a mythical religion that disappeared hundreds of years ago. We use this music in its cultural context, because in the Caribbean many people forgot its origins and as relaxing music for other parts of the world. Do you know of any church of Taino gods today? I can mention pagan gods such as consumerism, gossip and the lack of empathy of many Christians who only serve to criticize others.
Zemi ism is an actual religion and as a puertorican yes I know several that still practice said religion. Just call it areito the actual name for a Taino religious ritual. And als yes there are several organization who practice the religion and has been instrumental in reviving it. Sorry if I offended I just though that proper cultural context is important. Not to offend and the music is indeed very calming and soothing. I meditate on it. Jus thought the idea was a bit confusing. Areito is more proper than pow wow that’s all.

In the early 2000s a team went about he island and asked everyone what race they are (black, white, native, or Asian) over 80 percent said white.. even the dark skin Puerto Ricans 😂 a lot of Puerto Ricans think we’re Spanish but most of us are just mixed people… Spanish, African, and taino (native Caribbean)

As for the Puerto Rican thinking they are white, it's the result of over 500 years of colonialism imprinted in the Boricua DNA. It's feeling ashamed of what they are, that's all. You should read Albert Memmi's "The Colonizer and the Colonized" to understand this phenomenon before making fun of it. On the other hand, there is also an awakening of our Taíno heritage, not only in Puerto Rico but also in Santo Domingo and Cuba.
