Grainne, agreed. Sondra was spectacular in this role, both acting and singing. Truly a most memorable performance. Thankfully it was in HD and can be relived for posterity :-)
It is indeed a rare and magnificent performance by Radvanovsky. I am amazed and enthralled by her performance! She is spectacularly surpassing any disguise or camouflage as her breathtaking voice is shining through in the final minutes of this clip. I can't stop rewinding!

Ape Musicale he simply says he does not like Sondra Radvanovsky in parts, but enjoys Polenzani and Garanca a lot. So many,including myself, think it was so pleasant to hear all 3. I am happy I had the occasion!

Sarà anche brava ma non si capisce una parola che canta. Corso di dizione da qualche cantante americano come Ramey il cui fraseggio era esmplare e migliore di un italiano vero.

+sachseco I'm for sure that The Met will "get some new ears" when you sing for them! you must be a much better singer since you complain about it ... why not appreciate the other great voices IF you don't like someone? no matter who it might be. (my mother taught me to be quiet if I couldn't say some thing nice hmmm ) Nb. I'm a lousy singer by I do enjoy Mariusz Kwiecien

Sondra is an amazing actress as Callas was.. but Callas musically and vocally is in another level

Kwiecien is the best baritone and great actor
Never appreciated this soprano's screaming like timbre. Tenor just as 👎.
