Extraordinary production, one of the Met's finest, historic actually.
The entire cast, staging, costumes, all exemplary.
This is a very amusing scene, I think there's only one opera, (Don Giovanni?) where the heroine, in this case, Donna Elvira actually makes it to the convent and takes the veil LOL (well she said she would, whether she really did or not is up for speculation).
