Walking to Kyiv alone, unarmed, untrained and unsure if he could ever kill another man, this modest Ukrainian engineer is showing an extraordinary form of bravery.
I would do the same as you but maybe he's just a better human being then most of us.
I know what my friends and I would do, but it is for every man to make his own choice. I hope Sergei finds His way home.

Watching the man walk in the snow alone was just heartbreaking. I'm yelling at the news crew on my screen, "give that man a ride, please". Cold, wet, scary, and hopeless but somehow the Ukrainian people continue to find the strength to fight. It's amazes me. They are some very strong willed people.
I bet they wanted to. But if the press was caught ferrying resistance around the Russians would start killing all the press on sight.

Their courage is inspiring. Ukraine’s people rising to the occasion is a beacon of light for the world.

President Volodymyr Zelensky is an example of a new kind of leader. He is truly a courageous born leader. It's heartbreaking to see him suffering for others human being. I am fully respect for him.
