Ive never put songs in a file so how do we do that? I listen to all my music on youtube and even when I convert a youtube video to mp3 it saves to my photos.
Can you do this with notifications? I used to be able to do this.
Can I select a certain part of the song to be the start of the ring tone? You can press "play selected highlights only" but it always just plays it from the middle.

You might be able to plug your phone into a computer and select the option to be able to use it fir storage and move the songs over. I'm not sure but I had a phone ages ago I did like that. I know it isn't using a micro sd card bc this phone doesn't take those. Might be able to transfer from another phone with Bluetooth or NFC I'm not sure but I get my phone tomorrow and if I figure it out, I'll try to find this comment and let y'all know for sure.

How do u cut the song to make a specific part as a ring tone not a whole song.
I have tried several videos on this. I get to the point where Over the Horizon is playing so you can select what you want, (I thought I had already selected Neptune, but that is NOT playing) so it starts playzing the Over the Horizon, but there is no sound......

Easy fix.....Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Ringtone > click on the + on the upper right hand corner > Turn off "Play selected highlights only" > WALA!!!

Useless samsungs my old iPhone was so easy to set up a custom tone but samsung always take the piss don't even know if I can use screen recorded sounds for a ringtone
