  • In this #welding video, I demonstrate how to weld drops onto any existing piece of jewelry, such as rings, and permanent bracelets or bangles, without having to cut your existing piece of jewelry.
    By using thin wire that can go through the hole of the bead twice, you can add a bead charm very easily by welding.
    The same method can be done for interchangeable charms (that can be slid off or added on hoops or earring hooks.

    What tool are you rubbing it with after you welded? And why?

      that's the brush - there's just a bit of soot and smoke. It happens more when the electrode, or the metal you are welding, is a bit greasy from creams or just dusty.

    What is the name of the wire you use to make the rings ? where did you buy it from?

      The ring was already a finished ring. However, you can make the same design by twisting two wires together.
      For welding the bead onto the ring, I used solid 14K gold wire. We wholesale that, as well as solid 10K and gold filled, on our website.
