  • How to use your sewing machine to make quick and easy thread belt loops to hold a belt in place on a dress. Read more at so-sew-easy.com/how-to-make-th...
I need some of those thread belt loops that you used to see on dresses to hold the belt. I think these add a nice touch, hold the belt where it should be when worn, and when you take it off, the belt can still stay with the dress, ready for when you wear it next.

This is brilliant! Thank you for taking the time to show how to do this! I added belt loops to a dress and it was so easy to make my loops with my open-toe foot. Many thanks!

Everything I needed to know except how to insert after side seam has already been constructed :(

I would try to use a Needle with a big eye (for embroidery) and stick it through the side seem. You already have a knot on the belt loop string, so I would stick it through the side seem from the left side to the right side. And then the same backwards, but now you have to sew it in place.

You are clever. I always hand stitched them. This is so much quicker and it looks great too. Thank you, greetings from sunny California!

How clever, I always used a crochet hook and made a chain for these kinds of loops.

Tolle Idee! Man könnte auch unter und über den Fäden auswaschbares Stickvlies (Avalon) legen, dann hat der Fuß nicht den direkten Kontakt mit dem Transporteur und nimmt keinen Schaden! Grüße aus Deutschland
