Have you found that the Garmin LiveScope spooks fish? My fishing buddy uses one setup rotate 360 in order to locate bluegills. He said that if he leaved the beam on them they scatter?
In the eye of the beholder. The gents from The Bass Tank enjoy the technology component in fishing as does our staff at Wired2Fish. We certainly get and appreciate anglers that don't embrace it too.
@@madmaan12 in defense of the skill these guys have, and as a new Livescope owner, I can attest that just because you can see em, doesnt mean you can catch em. So far with my Livescope, I've had way more fish turn away from a bait presented to them, then I have caught. To each his own but technology like this is only going forward, nobody makes anyone use it,and again, the screen itself wont put fish in the boat. Great video guys, keep em coming :-)
You know call me old school - I get that lots of technology has come along over the years and helps you catch more/bigger fish. But if you ask me I do not even like to fish in clear water that I can see the fish below me because it's just too easy and not even sport. Kuddos to those who just want to land the fish into the boat - but for me I'd rather hunt more in the wild versus sitting next do the feeder in a high game pen.
Hi Connor, there are several places in the country that have a good amount of crappies pushing the 2-pound mark but yes, they don't live everywhere. Our MN team got into some 2-pound class fish last fall on a heavily fished public lake (ua-cam.com/video/CSwz_kEGis0/v-deo.html). Regardless, many of the teaching points are very applicable to crappies of all sizes across the country. Best of luck fishing in 2021.
Every state that doesnt freeze up during the winter has lakes just like this. The south is full of em. Come on down, we'll treat you to some good football down here as well :-)
I hope you are not allowed to use Live Scope in a tournament. that takes all of the skill out of fishing. it would be unfair in a tournament unless the people running the tournament make sure every angler has it.
I bet that not even 5% of the fishermen watching these videos can afford to spend 3 or 4 thousand dollars for electronics like he has. why don't these guys show videos that can relate to the average fisherman, not wealthy people.
@@marshalllaw4116 I catch plenty of crappie, and I don't have to use the electronics. I have been catching crappie for sixty-five years. and by the way, I still use cane poles too.
Wow, people like you is just next to impossible to compete. Awesome video!
Thanks! 😃
Never tried crappie fishing but I want to get into it!! That first fish was a beast!!! Great video 👍
Good stuff Zeke! 👊🏼💯
Instablaster...

Is this considered fishing or playing a video game with extra steps?

@@Wired2Fish When you use a video camera to put the bait in the fishes face, its no longer fishing.

Exactly, find fish without help....Let's see what happens then.
@@travismaxwell779 you don’t use maps or 2D sonar to locate fish?
Amen brother
Good informative video. I like the way you release them. I don't like watching people slinging fish back into the water.
Amen to that
We appreciate your eye for conservation John. Thanks for watching.
Thanks, that’s good stuff
What gear was he using?
Hi David, the product listing is provided in the video description. Thanks for watching.
Always thought the same thing...its kinda like hunting in a fenced in nature preserve
Hundred thousand dollar crappie. Nice.
LOL, my thoughts as well
What rod?
We believe it's a new prototype crappie-specific rod by Denali. Sorry we don't have more info.
How much did that one at 9:30 weigh ?
That one was 2.75 lbs on the scale!!
What lake
Lake wishunew

Looks like Oklahoma. Not that it helps lol. Kinda looks like a really big pond.
