This hits different now nowadays. I remember seeing this years ago,and made me continue to keep moving forward for my dreams. Now that we're in quarantine,school is eating up on me, my family problems chipping away at my sanity,fight after fight gets me down,my friends cut off connections with me,I have to deal with lots of medical problems,I can't pay for my tuition,and my depression slowly taking over. I'm slowly loosing myself,only to come back here again and it makes me smile. This song motivates me to wanna try moving forward again. One step at a time and fix my life. Once again,this gave me strength to carry on,how nostalgic.

Joe Verhoef well, I think it might rely on the doubled heart-beat bpm (just listen and you'll see that the beat is twice the heart-beat speed), giving energy throughout the body, and also it's catching rythmics, with the lyrics. So, this song might have been done to actually give energy to others who listened to it! (idk for magenta though =/)

Joe Verhoef fair enough, it's true that lyrics are really making you want to make a step forward, forget the past, all you wanted to know, and just continue on with a new life, a brighter one. Also, it motivates me because it reminds me of the anime No Game No Life, which was extremely great because of the "cluttered room".

This song isn't exactly my type of rhythm....but dude...the lyrics are just so comforting and inspiring.
It just makes you feel great inside and gives hope to those who may be trying to get out of the dark tunnel. Like these lyrics bring the light into view at the end of that tunnel....just simply amazing honestly.

it has been like 8 years since if first heard this song, an somehow this is still my favorite song by Nano and just overall. There hasn't been any song that could dethrone this song, every time I tried I'd come back to compare the two and it always loses. This song will always have a feeling that no other song can replicate for me. The lyrics are just magical, they relate to you when you are in your teens struggling in school and as time pass on they still relate to me just in a different way.

I love nano. All their songs (the English ones as those are the only ones I know what they are saying) really hit home. She sings to the listener, explaining all the struggles that we face and the hardships and how we keep going. Magenta, Hysteria, Blakboard, Neophobia, Sable, and even Savior of Song, it really resonates with me. Even Be Free with Music describes how those songs effect me. Live long Nano!

I was fortunate enough to hear this live at AWA one year when Nano visited my state. Incredible song. Nano is amazing.
Also I wanted to say even though some of the lyrics are a bit depressing they also have a bit of hopefulness to them and the melody and tempo of the song are very upbeat. I could be wrong but I choose to interpret this song as basically being about life, about how we're all just trying to figure it out but we can never figure it out (but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.) We're all just trying to get by in the world and we love and we laugh and we cry and we fall and we do it all over again. There is no ending, no state of perfection that can be reached and every time we think we've got it all figured out something comes along to make us think perhaps not again. That's okay, that's life, and it's a good thing. Otherwise, we would be stagnant. Every time we think we have the answer we then realize we really don't, but that's alright. That's what life is about. We're always growing, changing, evolving. That's what I believe this song is saying. No matter how many times you fall, keep getting back up. We may never know for certain the secret to lifelong happiness or why we are here or what comes after death but that doesn't matter. What matters is we are happy in the moment; if we knew everything there would be nothing left to learn and nothing left to discover, and how boring would that be?
