Very good video. I loved it. You forgot to list "International Superstar Soccer 64" or ISS 64 in the video :-) that was my favorite soccer game. My friends loved to play it together with me. It was released in 1997 too and I think it pretty much advanced in terms of gameplay and graphics back then.

Some PC ones in 1997 were Jane's Fighter Anthology and Longbow Gold,Longbow 2 , EF2000 V 2.0 that supported 3Dfx graphic accelerator cards and DID's F22 ADF which also supported 3Dfx cards. Hind by Digital Integration although released in the U.K. in 1996 was released in the US by iMagic in 1997 and had a 90% PC Gamer rating.Also Comanche 3 and Gold ,iF-16,iF-22,Jetfighter 3,Red Baron II,Sabre Ace,Joint Strike Fighter,Air Warrior II,F/A 18 Hornet 3.0 For non combat there was Microsoft Flight Simulator 98 and Flight Unlimited 2

It did look a lot better with higher resolution in 1997 on the PC with a patch for 3Dfx cards and even in much higher resolution than that if you had a Power card and a very high end PC to run it on which the Power VR cards needed.

Why show so many terrible platformers - nobody played them anymore by that time - because of all other games that were shown here that tottaly have stolen the attention both on PC and Consoles.
Thousands of gamers still playing platformers right now silly 😂 the 3D platformers were pretty new in '97.. but that sub genre faded out pretty fast cuz it SUCKED
