I’m starting to do some bass covers and maybe drum or guitar covers and I was worried I’d just waste my time and have everything taken down from copyright. I’m using Bassless tracks at the moment of the original song so hoping that works. I have no idea how to add tabs to the video so I’d have to figure that out.
You absolutely won’t have everything taken down. Worst case scenario it gets copyrighted and you can’t generate significant revenue from it. But tbh only the very top UA-camrs in this genre are making money worth mentioning, so I wouldn’t worry about that
Oh and for on screen videos, guitar pro is very much the most elite
@@Trads_Tabs That’s a relief. I enjoy making covers and would hate to go through all the work for it to just be taken down but I’m glad I’ll be good to go 😎
Hey man! Great video, I have been a little bit discouraged because of the copyright claims in some of my videos with tabs :(
I’ll try to dispute some of them under fair use, I hope it works. Thanks mate, subscribed!
Hey man, I checked out your channel, congrats on your success to date! It looks like you are doing very well. I’m subscribed now to you too. Keep me updated on how your efforts go!
@@Trads_Tabs hey man! sorry for the late reply, I've been a little out of the loop cause of work. Thanks, you're so nice for checking my channel. And yes, I will keep you updated! Cheers.
@danielguillenm oh dude no worries! Also I’m looking to start somewhat of a feedback network for tabbers on UA-cam to give each other feedback. Maybe just an instagram thread/reddit forum, something like that. Let me know if you’d be interested in participating in something like that. I can message you separately.
@@Trads_Tabs sounds great! Count me in mate :)
So how do I see people play whole songs on you tube there are people like Sonya Anubis that play whole kiss songs how does she do this
I got a copyright claim on a video of me just playing my accoustic guitar and singing
What video? I’ll take a look.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I havent found an answer for this: Can I just use a guitar (no backing track) to cover about 30 seconds of song to use for my youtube intro without risk?
Totally not a stupid question. If you are just playing the guitar part and you aren’t using the original track, your risk is lower, but isn’t non-existent. To be safe, you could always consider making some modifications to the original, like changing the tempo and pitch. If you want to keep it consistent with the original, just do some trial and error! Export the audio file with a still image to UA-cam to test it and see if it flags anything. If it does, modify the riff until it’s undetectable.
Hopefully this helps, feel free to give more specifics on the riff if I can help more.
@@Trads_Tabs Good advice, thanks.
