    "Star" is a bit of a stretch. Barely any Canadians k ow who he is. Hyena Road was utter shit. Canadian troops don't talk, act, or operate like that. The actors were trying to act like Americans, the drills portrayed were utter crap, and the interaction between the characters was horrible forced. I'm not sure if the director ignored the military advisers or if he just didn't have any. It could have been a decent film, but it was absolute tripe.
