    The Mopar Jeep Performance Parts 2" Lift Kit was designed by Jeep engineers to work perfectly with your Jeep Wrangler JL without any modifications required. When installed, the lift will allow fitment of 35" tires on standard flares and up to 37" tires using Rubicon High Top Flares.

    Rob - You do an awesome job explaining the kit features and installation. Our Mopar JPP engineering team spent a lot of time engineering and testing this kit right along with the development of the all new JL Wrangler. We passed our vehicle durability with flying colors. The new 2 1/2" Fox shocks are really great and we tuned them specifically for the 35" tire. We like the BFG KO2 35's that are C-Rated. Many folks aren't paying attention to their load rating and many 35's are actually designed for truck use and as such are D or E load rated. All the Wrangler needs is C. We are working with other tire manufactures on C rated 35's. What the C gives you is the best on road ride. E's are much stiffer and you will sacrifice ride. Another excellent set up is the 2" lift with High Top Fenders (Rubicon Fender Flares in the case of the JL). This combination allows for the installation of 37's. Big tires / Low ride - The best combo for real off-road. Check out the two vehicles we just released for the 2018 Moab Easter Jeep Safari. Google the Jeep Jeepster and Nacho Jeep. They are both set up with High Top Flares and 2" Lifts. Also great that you mentioned light aiming and alignment specs. Both important installation elements. We also have a speedo cal update that can be purchased through your dealer. Unfortunately, gone are the days of easy cal changes to vehicles - with vehicle gateway security protocol we needed to address that ourselves. We have updated calibrations for all tire and axle combos. Ask the dealer for Wrangler "Custom Cal" found in MVP. Finally, I see a question about wheels. All of the JPP wheels for Wrangler (Beadlock, Geared and Gladiator) have the proper 12mm offset. This is different than the production wheels. The 12mm offset give you the proper clearance for the tire in turns and articulation. Some folks use spacers but we wouldn't recommend it....plus the JPP wheels all look great. See you on the trails.

      Hello everyone.
      If you allow me, I ask you a question from the old continent. I live in Spain (Europe) and I would like to know if I can install the 2 "Mopar kit on a JL sahara 2.2 multijet Diesel. You have some tests with the European models. Thank you very much and my sincere congratulations for your good work.

  • @davidlake7248
    @davidlake7248 3 роки тому +1

    Thank you for your answer, in Europe it is not forbidden to climb 4x4s, only it is more difficult, because an engineer must verify that the car does not lose its safety to circulate on the road.
    I think I bought this kit, and as you say a BFG of 35 ".
    Thanks again the best

    Hey, I got a question. So I have a jeep gladiator sport s with an ecodiesel motor and I did go ahead and installed rubicon/Mojave higher fenders. If I got with mopar 2" lift kit, would it give me enough clearance to go with 37" tires? And would I need to regear? Thanks a lot.

    I purchased this lift from Quadratec and had my dealer install it. Quadratec shipped it right to my door, very quickly. It is fantastic! The ride is super smooth, but controlled, and the handling is nice and tight. I have it on a Rubicon with BF Goodrich KO2's, and it tracks staight and true, unlike many lifted Jeeps I've driven with 35's that like to wander all over the road, following grooves. This kit is factory engineered and it feels like it. I highly recommend it. Now I just need a programmer for the JL to reset my speedometer! @Quadratec, are there any on the way?

    • @Quadratec
      @Quadratec  6 років тому +4

      If your dealer installed this kit, they should have re-calibrated your Jeep for the larger tires as well. I would suggest your go back to your dealership and find out why they didn't do that when they did the install.

    I have a 2016 JKU. I have the mopar lifetime warranty. I went to the dealership where i purchased my jeep from. They told me if I bought this left kit from Mopar and had the dealership install it it will void my suspension warranty...? I found this to be a little bit of an oxymoron since it is a genuine mopar part and it would be a dealership install.... Does anyone know if this is valid information or is my dealership full of shit?

    I’m purchasing a 2018 JL Sahara. Do you think I could put 37 inch tires with this two inch lift? I’m not planning on doing any off roading until I put the high line fender flares on. I’ve seen people doing it and wanted someone’s opinion. My Sahara will have a manual transmission.

    Can you mount 35s on your stock JLU Rubicon wheels with this lift and no wheel spacers?

    • @Quadratec
      @Quadratec  6 років тому

      Yes! This kit will allow the fitment of up to a 35" tire on Wranglers with standard height Sport or Sahara fenders and up to a 37" tire on a Wrangler Rubicon with the high clearance fenders.

    • @Quadratec
      @Quadratec  6 років тому

      This kit will give you 2" of lift over your vehicles existing ride height on the original factory suspension. If you take a measurement from the ground to the body of your Wrangler before you install the kit and after, you should see 2" of difference. (of course this is assuming that you use the same tires before and after to take the measurements)
      If you've added heavier than factory bumpers and accessories which have caused your Jeep's suspension to compress, it will still compress the same amount with the new suspension.

    • @demisx
      @demisx 3 роки тому +1

      The lift is different on different trim, but you should gain at least 2" on Rubicon and more like 3"-4" on Sport/Sahara models.

      No it does not. My understanding is and this is what I am doing right now. Order it from the dealer and let the dealer install it. Any work your dealer does to your vehicle is usually warranted. In this case the lift will not void the warranty bc it was installed by the dealership themselves.
