I have set my safe Z position to 10mm in a 6mm board. When I run the program , starting from the board's surface, the machine does not lift before plunging, do you have any suggestions?
You have the Material Setup section at the top of the toolpath tab, but there's no Rapid Z gaps section at all in the form that opens? If that's the case it's probably something that you need to contact Vectric support about.
@@shopbottools I finally found it. I was looking on the left hand side of the interface where you set up the material thickness, etc. In fact, it's on the RIGHT of the screen above all the tools and tool settings. I think my problem was, when you have a tools properties OPEN, the safe Z interface gets covered up! Once you close the tool paths again, you see it at the top. I figured it out a few days ago. Thanks so much for the response!
Hello sir I am using offline cnc controller and vector aspire. My machine starting z height is correct, but when program ends it will not maintain safe z height with material and many time it will clash to material and come back to home position.If you have any idea, how to resolve this issue, please reply to me

I don't have the rapid Z gaps above material settings in my V Carve Pro 9.5. My head is going to explode.

What offline cnc controller are you using? Is it the ShopBot control system and software or something different?
I am using tomatech 4640 chiness cnc controller. It is very much similar to Adtech 4640 cnc controller
